So very true. But even so, there's something about this blue-eyed succubus that torments me endlessly. Apparently she hasn't sucked enough of my life away for me to learn my lesson. I find that it's easy to put your legs into the devil's pool but so very hard to remove them.

I laugh when people say, "It's better to have loved and lost than to have never have loved." My response? "Go screw yourself. You're not a Scorpio and have no idea how lost love tortures us."

I know that may have come across as harsh but I hate that saying because it sounds so flippant and generalized. Not everyone should fall in love. It's just not for everyone. There's a reason people kill themselves over lost love. The pain can sometimes be too much for someone to handle. I prefer this saying (paraphrasing): Caution should be exercised in matters of the heart. Especially for our kind.

Red.....when its the "Right" one.....we have nothing to fear.....EVEN our kind!
