I see so many posts here about scorps not being good partners for this or that sign (cancer, pisces, sags, etc). I wonder with whom do they match best? Does anyone knows?

I don't see that one lasting though SB. There is a lot of fiery passion at the beginning but it soon fizzles out. I was in a relationship with a leo. In the end, there was nothing but emptiness..He wasn't deep and compassionate enough. His constant need to be centre of attention in every activity was soooo frustrating to say the least. Thats not to say they won't all work..

I would say Capricorn - due to the harmonious balance, Taurus cos I think they are compassionate and open about their feelings..but control issues from both parties could cause long term problems, and personally for me, another Scorpio.

I have two very close Virgo friends..and yes I love them to bits..they are soo soothing and calm..Earth balances us Scorps..Bring harmony to our otherwise eccentric lives..Scorpio guys are nice..I like them, always have got along very well with them and my first love was a scorpio guy.

JD - yes I see what you mean. Whilst its nice that your partner knows you inside out, there really isn't anything new they could bring to the relationship. But if the relationship is a happy one, would you want something new? I think one has to look at other planetary influences too besides the sun sign. Having said that, what the hell did we all do before taking an interest in astrology? We just took a chance. With the knowledge you now have of each star sign, would you pick and choose your partner? There is no way a Scorpio and Leo would get along at all. It is my opinion because Leos are no way close to the depth and integrity a Scorpio requires in any kind of a relationship. I think that all the earth and water signs would be best for a Scorpio. Plus with a Leo and Scorpio couple we would have a great power struggle.

in my experience, we dont say how we really feel, but we know the other is feeling something as great as we ourselves are feeling. without directly saying it, we've said it. communication and trust is key. pushing it is hard, becuase we both know how vulnerable we are and it doesnt help that it scares us both. it is a slow going relationship, but every step has been solid. even arguments have been earnest and we go into them with every intent of making it right.

Initially, we both had our reservations and held back until trust was established. Now, we're way past that initial caution, but I know he understands me and I understand him...and like CreepyPants said, you both know how the other is feeling without directly saying it. You can feel how crazy you are about each other without so much as saying a word. I am more the communicator of the two, and I find that if I broach a serious subject, he's more than willing to listen and resolve it. I love that about him! At times, I feel like he gets scared because he feels as strong a connection as I do...and it scares me too because of the vulnerability issue. I think Caps and Scorps need to learn to just "give in" to what they feel, and they need to learn that there's nothing wrong with feelings.

MM, you are so right! My aunt is a Pisces married to her Scorp husband of 15 years and she still can't deal with his need for space. She can come across as independent but also very needy; I think there mostly together because of their children.

A friend of mine, also Pisces, was going after a Scorp guy we both knew and she would call him all times of the night...he would never call her, and she wouldn't get the hint. Lol..I don't think the caps about to make a move anytime soon. He's a crash test dummy, mentally scarred. He said don't hold a torch out for him which in cappy terms means, I am too much of a wimp to tell you how I feel about you, despite leading you up the garden path for 10 months but I also want to be fair and let you move on if YOU want to. But I still want to be your friend despite you just telling me that you feel for me more than friends..Right..likes thats going to work..**rolls eyes**..I don't like living in no-mans land so I don't talk to him much these days although he's always there. Well I think both are intelligent, sharp wit, focused, Status and money orientated, extremely loyal to those they geniunly care about, honest to the point of brutality, passionate (Scorpios more so). Scorpios are very blunt and upfront. They say what they feel when they feel it. They don't hide under any facade. I just wish Caps spoke more about their feelings and learn to trust more. We scorps don't trust very easily but we have an excellent ability of sifting out the fakes and we do give people the benefit of doubt. We are openly loving to those we let into our lives.

I also have another Scorpio male friend who has been best friends with a Cap male for 15 years. Those two have been through thick and thin together and I have never come across such a close bond between two males before.

Yeah, we do have an issue with this. The more I try to open up and trust people...my mind goes on overdrive and I think of all the reasons to be suspicious of someone. But as I get older, I tend to deal with this better.

I agree with all of this. Sometimes I find myself checking out the Cap board and all of the endless posts on Cap men...and I can relate all of them to the Scorp men I know. Strange!!

You can go slow and steady once you've told each other how you feel, but if you take 4 years to tell the other person how you feel, thats far toooooo slow and not everyone has the luxury of waiting around regardless of how much they want to. You have to be realistic too.

of course. totally agree. right now, at 4 months, im not worried at all about pace, fast or slow. im just happy he and i are moving right along side each other. time will only tell if that continues to be the case and if it isnt, we'll see if the commitment to working things out is as reliable.

I agree; slow is the way to go. Haste makes waste, in my opinion. Scorp & I are both on the same page when it comes to taking things slowly...and that works for the both of us being that we are slow to commit.
