why do they say scorpios are stong I don't get it

Every scorpio I know is always crying and geting angry 4 something stupid and not worth the energy so why do they call you strong b/c u can scare sum people. Notice I say sum people other weak people that hide under danger I think strong people laugh at danger like me =) so why do u believe your strong.

Scorpio is a water sign and though we might hide it we are very emotional and tend to get hurt very easily. We can create an insult out of anything. I take things wrong and read into things all the time.
At the same time we have the Mars fueled tempers that makes us strike when angry rather then hide like Cancers or swim away like Pisces. That is why they say Scorps are vindictive. We will strike back.

Do I cry? Yeah sometimes. Honestly it's rare but sometime a good cry helps. I'm also a control freak. When things don't go my way or how I see it going it makes me a paranoid bundle of nerves. Imagine always being tense and on top of things. It gets tiring.
I believe that is why I need alot of sleep (most Scorps I know need sleep alot or they turn into monsters). It takes up alot of energy to be in control or attempting to be that controlled all the time.

What makes us strong? Well... we deal with alot of emotions always turned up on high. And then we try to surpress them. It takes alot of stiff upper lip to deal with that.
IDK if this answers your question but if you really want to know then look into Scorps a bit more and put yourself in our shoes. I think I'm a pretty strong person.... maybe to some I look weak. I say who cares though 🙂

That's what I've observed with the Scorps I know in real life: They're not afraid to deal with their emotional side. Virgo will try to ignore it by keeping busy. Both Signs can be tough, but Scorpio has greater tensile strength.

Intense sensitive is a strength. It means you can pick up on things in yourself and things in other people. Emotional intellegence is really important.

Well I don't hold it in I just ether distroy it in my mind or hold it in so I can use it to get what I want out of a person. Sounds like a lot of scorpios do the other that im talking about.. And that is using it for what u want out of people.

That is soooo untrue. Scorps are the Kings and Queens of suppression. That's why they work so hard to study you. Hence the silly "Stare" ooooohhhh. But, the Scorpio women I dated, showed strength through weakness. I get it. Every dragon has a chink in their armor. But, the Scorpio is looking for it at all times. When they meet someone who can see through that, that's when they harden up, or withdraw. So, no. Not strong at all. Kinda sad actually. But, I love them for what they are. People. Charles Manson is a Scorpio. But, so is Bill Gates. Ponder.

My mum gets emotional too but I'm sorry strong as in tunnel vision and very narrow minded. Strong opinion maybe!

I feel sorry for individuals who supress their emotions...my face is full of expression..you will know exactly how I am feeling..I am a happy go lucky individual but can be serious when situation calls for it. Weakness has never been associated with me throughout my life. So apologies if you are coming across pathetic scorpios...afterall it's a race...we can't all be the same..

I'm not saying get off the boards I would never tell anyone that but it SEEMS... like u were defending scorpios when I'm not really attacking them. I too know a gemini man. If you ask him i am weak scorpio woman. The fickle Gemini mind will never understand the depth or amount of self control it takes to hold in the fire. you say its sad but its beautiful can u sit quietly in a crowded room or alone and feel the magnetism run thru your veins? Can any one but me FEEL the electro magnetic currency in the air and have an orgasm off thoes feelings? Charles manson succumbed(sp)to his inner deamon, wanting that feeling that we feel but he wanted too much, he o'd on that good feeling... Bill Gates uses his good feeling towards his passion of computers, i bet he gets off on that "FEELING" knowing how good he is. To supress a whirlwind of forbidden desires is sooo hard it may appear weak (crying, being hysterical,posessive), to you like a little puff of smoke coming out the top of a volcano, just know that it takes alot of control to keep the volcano from exploding.
