Will Scorpio go back to his ex?

My problem: I (Libra) met him (Scorpio) 12 years ago. We began casually dating, but he would disappear for a few weeks at a time. After about a year of this, I asked him straight up why he always disappears and comes back? This is when he admitted he had a girlfriend. He would come to me when he was "broken up" with her. I dealt with this for the next 6 years. I finally got fed up and left him.. officially 4 years ago. I blocked him on FB, I changed my phone number. since then, he reaches out to me around my birthday every year through friends.

Turns out, he finally broke things off with the Virgo shortly after I left him (4 years ago), and he's been single ever since, trying to reach me.

My question: If I get serious with him, how do I know he wont go back to his Virgo ex?

You don't...this sounds like a disaster! Personally i'd never settle for a guy who disappears for a few weeks at a time anyway 😕

Normally Libra wont. But we've been in this for 12 years, and he would disappear on me to go back to her out of commitment. If I'm the girlfriend, I assume he wouldn't do that.

Are you sure? Everywhere I look it says "Virgo great match" and "Scorpio leaves and comes back"

Alright, 2 against 1. Now how do I remove these "opinions"... ha! figured it out.

Hence.. my current dilemma. Give him a chance or shut him out completely?

How long is "long time" in this scenario?

the math: I left him at 7 year mark. He leaves her "for good" less then a year later. Then he waits 3 years to reach out to me.

How do I know he has properly finished with her? I don't.

What I do know:
1) he added me back on FB. (She had made him remove me).
2) He didn't contact me right away after leaving her. He did the right, mature thing by waiting 3 years.
3) He wants us to take it slow.




At the end of the day I need to know if its over with her for good.

If its not, then I will walk away again, and he knows I'm not coming back. Part of me wants to contact Virgo and ask Her directly. ... Such a Libra thing to do.

Why would you want to be with a man who lied to you while he was basically living a double life with you and another? So what if he's dumped her? It would forever be seared into my head that he could do it again. The trust would be gone and there'd be no way for him to gain it back.

I honestly consider Libra women to be more compatible than Virgos for Scorpio men.

Last week, I saw a Youtube video that described how some Scorpios proceed to ask a girl out. Before asking a girl to be his girlfriend, a scorpio will many times give her one last test. He will say something really hurtful, in order to see how she reacts when she is angry.

This weekend I met him for dinner. As we ate, he started talking about a new girl. Of course, I am not the jealous type, so I listened. He gave me a hypothetical scenario about having a polygamous marriage with both of us.

When I answered No, he asked "what if I were to choose her?" I told him to go ahead. I have no problem giving him up. However, he should think about how he will hurt this new woman in his life, when Good Old Virgo shows up again.

Well, this comment angered him. All of a sudden it wasn't about this "new woman" ... it was "I already said I'm not getting back with Virgo. I told you this already. What's done is done. Why do you keep thinking she's coming back? Trust me, she's not"

I got my answer 🙂

Nah. This girl has nothing on me. The only one who I was worried about was Virgo.

Libra woman are too nice sometimes. I learned from my Scorpio that you need to be tough. He needs to realize you won't sit around and wait for him to commit to you. I suggest DIP. He took you for granted then, what makes you think he's changed now?

What makes me think he might have changed is that he left her soon after I left him (within a year).
He chased me for the next four years. He knows I wont sit around and wait for him to commit.

I consider this his second and last chance.
