Ya'll come on a little strong, huh?

Scorpio dude (the one with mostly fire placements) is coming on VERY strong. Very nice guy. Today he brought me lunch and coffee to my house before I left for work, just dropped it off and left. I said I was on a no carb diet until I left on vacation. so, he grilled me steak tips and veggies. It was so thoughtful. Has been taking me to all these great restaurants not allowing me to so much as leave a tip. Offered to lend me money for my Vegas trip (politely, yet assertively declined). Constantly talking about the future even asking to go on vacation to Costa Rica in November,.,,Calling me pets names... etc. I cant tell if I like him yet or not. Do Scorpios usually come charging in like that? Although he is very much a gentleman Idk how I feel chemistry wise.

Should I say pump the brakes?!

IME, they do come on strong in the beginning. I had one create a website with my name plastered all over it.

It's the inconsistency that pisses me off..

Generally speaking I'm not a fan of Scorpio guys for this reason. As you said, they're usually very nice, but just come on way too strong from my experience. And they can be total bitch ass babies when rejected. They're super gentlemanly until you're like "no sorry I've been dating someone for a long time and I'm not interested. But thanks!" and then they get super ugly and rude out of nowhere and accuse you of things that absolutely aren't true. Have had it happen with 3 different scorps.

I have a very good intuition. And my gut feeling is that he would NOT handle an even slight rejection from me well. I get the sense in the future he would also probably be a bit sensitive and slightly jealous.

Is this how you feel when you come on strong? Do you only do so when you just want anything?

That's sort of a cardinal thing. Fixed signs aren't really like that though. We don't act now and weigh options as we go. We weigh beforehand then put things into action once we've committed to a path in our minds. And since Scorpios are fixed water, we arrive at those decisions through feeling, rather than thinking like an air sign would.

From what you describe and how you post about him, it seems as if you're not that into him in comparison of him to you.

Its *very* rare to feel that way about someone, so when I do feel it, it is really that particular person that I'm amazed/confused by, and caught up in. I cannot help putting them on a pedestal and overlooking their flaws. The boundaries can go to shyt real fast. It always seems my feelings are in advance of the other person. I just want the person to feel as good as I feel by any means, and get so caught up in the emotion of it all, I can be prone to over-compliment, over-spend, really just focus way too much on them. But so many times it is just too fast for the other person, and a feeling of rejection is inevitable, then a long painful process ensues....hahaha....Its pretty messy but I always feel if its meant to be, it will be, and in my experience when I feel that strongly, the other person usually does too...They're more so just afraid often due to issues within their self, like you're saying, that the connection can bring to the surface. He also after two dates sent me this song by the old 60's group the Roller Coasters and said "On date 6 I want you to dance with me to this". NEVER in my life had a guy show an underbelly like that. I was simultaneously very flattered and weirded out at the same time. Granted I'm starting to realize I have intimacy issues, and am overly critical in love. I blame Virgo Mars/ Venus and my parents. hahahah

my only advice for you is to be careful, every and I mean every scorpio I've been with and heard stories about comes on strong in the beginning, they lure you in, give you their full attention and treat you like there's nobody else like you, it lasts and then poof, you get tested, he withdraws, starts arguments to see how much you care, plays hot then plays cold, he tests your patience, loyalty and feelings, and these are not obvious in slightest, he'll test you and pick on the smallest words, it goes further and deeper than you think

obviously not generalizing but many many scorp men are like this

they make you love them and then they play games to see how genuine and deep that is

It's not even over attention. It's very concentrated, consistent attention. Very direct and fast. I'm just not familiar with it and it kind of scares me.... like I can't explain why it makes me uneasy. Very nice dude. Not hating... I'm sure most people desire the directness. Fuck when I don't get it, I'm like "these dudes suck". Then I get it and I'm all stand offish and questioning.

I found out that with Scorpio who likes you and who cares about you - there is no limitation on questions, expressing concern and total honesty.

I Will say he asks me where I am a lot. And is always looking over my shoulder when I'm texting. Blantantly. I'm aware and prepared that some jealousy is on its way. Haha. I posted a photo of myself that a friend took and he immediately called to ask who took it. Hahaha it's not in an aggressive manner, it's kind of funny.

That last bit about him knowing where she lives and how that's a no no cracks me up. I mean Scorpio filing that away is just a given but I can't stop laughing at that, and its not even that funny

Though I personally have to ask what's so wrong about coming on strong? It's def flattering and if you're into it then show him its mutual. Countless girls come on this website complaining and butt hurt that a guy is distant that he's ghosting. Its a common problem in the dating world so enjoy a guy who is showing that he cares and wants to take care of you. If you're not into and feel overwhelmed back up and let him know. I understand wanting answers and opinions, but it seems to me that you already know what you want to do. He won't do this forever and wait for a response. As a Scorpio I cool my heels incredibly fast if I feel like the object of my affection doesn't want me to the same extent and move on.
