Hehehehee *pointing at clock* 23 minutes and we'll be ringing in the new year. Unless I'm not taking into account a time difference. Most definitely, that isn't indigo 'hate' and 'love' scratched into someones fists. LOL Have to have the good ink slung on your skin.

Let's see, my half sleeve has so far taken 4 sessions of round 2-3 hours each. And it needs color yet. All the outline and shading is complete. I think one more should do it. Sooo I think minimum a back piece like that would require the same ( or durned close to it ) time frame. Outline. Allow that to heal. More work, heal, etc. Take the bigger pieces in stages.

LOL Of course you do. As I love mine, sans ink so far ( but my daughter has two tattoos. One memorial piece for her father, one on other side for her sister ) chin pubes and all. Hairy devil. Sasquatch like his father. 😉

I love my ink. But I shan't like and tell you it doesn't hurt. However I will tell you that you enter into a zone, where the area numbs, the pain recedes. And you fly. And when the buzzing is done for the day ( the gun is turned off ) you could take the world by the cojones. Pure rush.

Yes, the real deal will not. Which is why when someone asks I tell them to really research, and choose something that matters. Whether they pull it from Nature, Fantasy, etc. Wherever, but it should make the soul sing in recognition. Feel that pull to it, identify with it for whatever reason.

Exactly. Some days are just 'le sigh' and soft and super romantic. Rather Disney-esque with filters and loads of low lighting. Others you roar like a tigress. The past few have been ( dare I say? ) lacy and frilly for me.

LOL No. Not the devil dog that turned my hand into shredded wheat. I was so terrified of even the tiniest dog for the longest time. Now I have two buffoons, large as life and twice as annoying. But I wouldn't change a ( shedding ) hair on either of them. When Miss here sighs, curls up behind me and lays her chin on my neck and cheek at night it's so sweet. And my big lad just stands there stalwart and true and lets me throw my arms around him.

Awwwwww, my big girl just rang me to wish me a Happy New Year "I Love you soooooo much Mom, you're the best Mom EVER" ( think she's a touch hammered? Maybe? ) And a text from a friend, more realistic..softer "HAPPY FREAKING NEW YEAR TO ALL MY BEOTCHES!"
