Confused with a Taurus male. =\

My other post wasn't showing up.
I'm confused about what's going on with this taurus I've been seeing since September. He has never had a girlfriend before or or has done anything past making out with one. We've been seeing each other once a week since we met. We only txt about once a week to make plans to hang out. He made the first move in the middle of October, and also mentioned that he was looking for a relationship. I told him I wasn't really looking for because I am going to an out of state school and I wouldn't want things to get all serious then have to break them off. But I told him that I like him a lot and would not see any one else. A month later we ended up going all the way. And 2 weeks later he left for thanksgiving to visit parents. I got a txt from him saying "I miss you and wish you were here with me" I told him I missed him as well. When he got back we saw each other again. We had a fun night at the beginning of Dec. but he said he would be busy with finals and working for the school and wasn't sure when we'd hang out, then the week after he was leaving for home for xmas break. About a week later I asked how everything was going with him he replied and I asked if he knew when he'd be leaving for home, and if I'd get to see him before he'd leave. He told me he should be free tuesday. When tuesday came around I didn't want to initiate txting cause I'd done that a couple of times and I didn't want to be bothersome. He ended up never txting me or anything and ended up heading homeand never said anything till I asked if he had left xmas eve. He didn't say anything about tuesday and asked if I was doing anything for the holidays. Confused that last break he left and say I miss you, and this one doesn't say anything, I responded to his question then asked "so do you still want to hang out with me when you come back here?" And he responded with "I'll get in touch when I'm back" I responded and basically said have happy holidays, he said thanks you too and we haven't spoken since then, xmas eve.

I know it's dumb I'm worried and was the one who didn't want the relationship, but before he left I realized that if him and I stopped seeing each other that it'd feel like a break up. Iwanted to tell him that and that I really like him a lot before he left but didn't get to. By his reply and actions before that txt I had a gut feeling that he doesn't want to see me anymore. I'm not sure why, we've never had fights. Should I wait for him to contact
