How do I get this Taurus guy to talk to me?

Okay---

I have been interested in this Taurus guy for about a month, he constantly gives me looks and checks me out. A few weeks ago my friend introduced me to him, and since then we greet each other (the regular hi and bye). My question is- how do I approach him? I want to spark up a conversation, but I do not know what to say.

His personality seems to be very mysterious, the silent strong type. I normally do not find it difficult to start a convo but with him it's different- I feel stuck, all I can get out is a "hi".

I do not really know him but I want to, I already knows he finds me attractive but I feel like we are not getting anywhere.

Oh and the only times I really encounter him is when I have practice (I'm a cheerleader, he is on the track team)...

HELP!!!! I am really interested in him...

for some reason I think that his rising is Scorpio

Ask him how he's doing and really mean it. Start a convo about track. do you know what events he competes in? Try to find out and ask about his stats, accomplishments, ect. Be thoughtful and sincere but not too serious.
