How to be there for a taurus man who has recently broke up

Hello there, I met my taurus man at the gym, and I’m head over heels about him. He always stares at me and gives me that gaze. Since he asked for my number, he used to call every day. I kinda got used to that. Then he started to disappear for a day or two then comes back. I rarely call him. He told me that he had a girlfriend and by the time we met, they were already breaking up. One day I called to check up on him while I was on my way to the gym, he told me that he wanted to see me. We met and he told me that he has just broke up 5 mins ago and that he’s sad and confused. He read her texts to me and that she was cursing at him for breaking up with her. He told me the relationship was going nowhere and that he felt this was the right thing to do. After he drove me home, he thanked me for being there for him and for listening to him and that he appreciated it a lot .

Anyways, Now we’re acting as if we’re friends. I know he likes me but I don’t know how to be there for him? Should I be constantly calling and checking up on him or should I give him the space he needs? What do you taurus guys feel after a breakup? What do you need then? I don’t know what to do when he becomes distant. I don’t know what to do to make him get over this as fast as possible. He sometimes becomes distant and cold.. what to do to show him that I’m there for him without being too clingy or pushy? I feel like I need an extra-detailed guide book for you taurus men to help me with this. Lol.. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I thought about this metaphor when I read your story. Even a cake pulled right outta the oven needs time to "cool off". Uh, what I mean by that is, did you expect him to fall at your feet? To ask you to be his girlfriend? If the answer is "no" why are you already possessing him? (look at your sentence, "My Taurus man"); uh, sorry Doll, he's not your man (not yet).

Since HE broke up with her, I believe he needs time to gather his thoughts. Since she cussed him out he may be shocked by her response. If she starts to contact him and crying her eyes out; then he will feel sorry for her and take her back (maybe). I don't know what words she is using to get him back (manipulating him to feeling bad for his decision to break up with her). Give him the time and space he needs (read above metaphor). God gave man "choices"; he chose to break it off with her. Maybe she wasn't good in bed, maybe she was a party animal, maybe she _____________________ (you fill in the blank); to make yourself feel better about him/you. Wait. I'd say wait. And what "IF" he wants to be your friend? We don't know if they jumped in the sack too fast and he has been thinking about how she is (personality; maybe she is not a hard worker as he is, etc, etc, etc). Taurus men want that "special" someone to be their "friend" first, then lover, then g/f, and then "wife" material. Good luck.

Here is one for the books...my Taurus ex broke up with me (yes drop my ass like a bad habit) and has been trying to get back with me up until this day and its been 2 years now!!! I would not even bother if I were you. Just try not to get your feelings involved and we all know that's easier said then done.
