Is she blowing cold, or did she cut me off?

I'm a Sagittarius male, and I'm not sure where I stand right now so I'll be pessimistic and use the past tense.

I added this Taurus girl on FB who was a friend of a friend because, I couldn't help myself. Eventually we started flirting and warming up to each other, and I only met her once in person when I went to an art show she was part of. She did a lot of the "blowing hot and cold", and I have to admit that the cold parts sucked, but they ended up making us closer.

So I let my mind drift too far into thinking about an ex, and it was obvious how guilty I felt because I can't hide my feelings, and she can always see what's up with me. And it was bad because I only met her once, so just thinking about an ex was a red flag. I made it up to her (I hoped) by writing her a poem because she likes art, and I like to write. It was a good poem, and it showed that I was thinking about HER. Buuut, she blocked me and I haven't heard anything since.

This might sound pathetic because we're basically just on FB, but I was really hoping it would be something more, and I dug pretty deep to make it up to her. Do you think this cold shoulder is temporary, or did I go too far?

I agree. She was probably freaked out by the poem. I was once casually seeing a guy that told me he wrote. He sent me something he wrote about me. As soon as I received it I saw him in a different way. I had zero attraction and was very put off. Coming on too strong, yes. Since you only saw her once and have no previous connection I would say it is most likely over. I also think it is possible that she did not like your poem. If she thinks you lack talent and that you are delusional about it she might be embarrassed to face you again. I doubt saying anything at this point will help at all, it will just feel like you coming on too strong again.

Thanks, I think you all might be right. She always encouraged me and talked a lot about building trust, so i never thought the poem itself would be that big of a deal. Maybe she got me good? I'm kinda pissed she'd just bail, but I think that's how it is.
