Need Taurus man 101 tutorial

Never dated a Taurus, so I'm a Tau-newbie. This is what Ive gotten from my 2 month friendship.

1. He asks lots of questions about me, shows interestsm has a good memory, often remembers to ask me how something I mentioned a week prior went. Good points, I admit.

2. Very slow to make the first phone call. Had to remind him I gave him my telephone number. He sent me his so Id have it, which I think was his way of wanting me to make the first call. I did not.

3. He prefers to text, and waits hours in between to reply.

4. Not a big flirt at all. Somewhat serious, though incredibly smart...he is a Ph.D, so very academic and intelligent.


So, how do I learn to go slow? This is all chinese to me. Help!

PS He is also a Scorpio moon/Taurus Venus

I think if you want to get the ball rolling you may have to initiate the contact. It seems some of the guys need a push, and I don't think he'll mind you pushing him a bit. If you don't want it to go slow or at his pace, it doesn't have too.

I'mIt seems Leo and Taurus can be a pretty good pair, from what I've noticed and what you've posted of your chart looks good.

this taur guy in my life is the most amazing man ever- but I doubt ill ever tell him! he really is a "beautiful" looking man and he is just so calming and grounding; something i do not usually go for. he texts and doesnt ever call. i always go to him and he is also a great host. he works out and is extremely health conscious. he has a million and two friends- both men and women. his friendships are important and he talks about the nice things he does for people. he dresses well and likes nice things. he has plans made weeks in advance. he is proud of his abilities and makes them known- kind of like look what i can do! now praise me lol he also listens well and will bring up things that i forget. in his arms i feel safe and at home, not like my crazy aries self 🙂 he is alluring- not a hunter. oh and in bed- he is sensual, comforting, he really has fun- a little selfish- but he exudes passion.

Here's some fun facts about him: He seems rather quiet and introspective. He is ridicously intelligent, holds 4 degrees. Lives in the country, 10 miles from nearest store. Very remote, no neighbors for 5 miles or so. Doesn't seem like a ladies man at all. I think he might be the unibomber :/

My ex was a Taurus and he always made the first call, first text...Im not one to call guys...or text for that matter..if he starts I have no problem continuing, but that's unusual with your Taurus because this Taurus would call 24-7, even when he was on his break at work he would call..and in between also...he was Supervisor at a Law firm so i guess he had more time and took advantage of that...Maybe your Taurus is normal and my ex was the weird one...lol...but yeah he had no problem calling and we would talk for long periods of time...Your Taurus is taking it slow so I dunno how much slower you can go..lol...good luck though..I hope it all works out for ya😉

Sounds like my Taur guy. He is 6'4 and would look delicious in the shower. Yum. So when he wrote you back that he was in the shower did you not RUN through that open door? You said you are a Leo and like to take things fast. Or is it still too new and weird to joke with him about being naked in the shower? Because I totally would be all over that and my Taur would eat that up like the best meal he's ever had. I can get mine to have lots of fun through texting...lots of fun! but usually I have to initiate it and he comes trotting at me full speed.

I have a tendency to want to text him all day because Im thinking about him and I try SO HARD to "ignore" him and within a few hours I get a message from him initiating a good conversation. Im currently talking to a Taurus guy, we dated 3 yrs. ago in college and we just sort of kept in touch over the yrs after our break-up. I hate letting go completely if the relationship or person truly meant something to me, I at least want to stay their friend, or be able to speak when I see them out and feel good about it. Apparently so does he.

I must say you are right, he HATES talking on the phone to "other" people. He doesn't like talking to strangers. But with me he will talk all day every day. I tried to get him a call center job, and he didn't even go to the interview.lol. But I don't know I think it depends on the person, because even when we first hooked up in college he called me the first night he got my number and we talked until we fell asleep. Maybe Libra's just have that soothing affect on people 😉

100 miles to me isnt that big a deal...especially since he lives near the beach and so do I. It's a nice drive to his area and if this turd balloon of a friendship ever gets off the ground, I could see enjoyable fuck-fest weekends on both coasts.

You guys remind me of something....when this guy and I met on Eharmony he wouldnt tell me his first name, only initial. Said that he wanted to get to know me a bit via email, then would reveal. Seems he was worried that with his name, and some info he wrote in his profile, I could google him and find out a bunch of info on him. It was all very legit, I read artciles about him and his study, and several peer to peer reviews and it was all good. The dude is a univeristy professor. He is NO Ted Bundy. LOL

And so, Im silent too. Ok, so....did I scare him off with my openness and/or he read something there that frightened him? Or, is he digesting the info?

Now that you've revealed your innermost thoughts (via blog)...He's studying you and probably even writing his next dissertation. YOU ,my dear, are his muse. The silence is probably him busy and at work. After all he IS a professor he needs to keep his lectures fresh and appealing for the minds of the masses.

I would love to know if he googled me. I told him early on that I do searches on men cus after all, we're on an internet dating site for jebus sakes. A few weeks ago a dude on EH sends me an email, asks me out in that first email. Tells me he is an infectious disease doctor, the area he works and lives. He gave me enough info to google him and within 3 minutes I found him online....his mug shot! He was arrested in October 2011 for running a pill mill out of his office. Selling 'scripts for $ 250 a pop.

He also had been arrested for battery and rico charges a few years ago...andd, worst of all, his arrest record showed his real age. He lied by 10 friggin years on his profile. That's why google is my friend.

In looking at my last blog entry, I wrote about how much better I am feeling since my break up. Ok, this is what I did. I sent him an email and asked if there was somthing disturbing or bothersome he read on my blog? I said I was a Leo and am very open and just wanted him to get to know me on a more in-depth level and I trusted him, so I sent the blog. I said if he wanted to ask me about anything he read, to feel free to do so. And legt it at that.
