Do you believe in soul mates? Or star crossed lovers?

I use to think that soulmate was a singular term, but the more I grow the more I learn about love, I start to realize that the term can also be stretched to include close friends as well. For example my best friend (Libra) is someone who I consider to be a soulmate. I love him, and can't imagine my life without him. We understand each other in ways I can't explain, however I would NEVER date his hoe ass...

Also I've never met anyone who I consider to be my "star crossed lover"...however my best friend is deeply In love with a guy we use to be stationed with, and though the guy may put on a front I know he feels the same way about my BFF.

I'm just curious do you guys think?

Do you believe in soul mates is a plural term? Also what is your view on star crossed lovers?

I never believed in soulmates until recently. There is a guy out there that i'm drawn to and he's drawn to me. We've known each other for a long time. It seems that no matter what is going on in our lives we always seem to be pushed together or pulled together. I would like to think that one day he'll be my husband. but... this could just be my hormones talking and clouding my thoughts.

I definitely believe in soulmates! Some are your sibling/friend soulmates and some are your lover soulmates. I've always had a vague idea of what it was (lover wise) and what it would be like but after experiencing it...well, I KNOW now, I get it!

I think a big part of it has to do with how compatible you are. My gut reactions to people are almost never wrong and then when I match up our natal charts it ALWAYS echoes what my thoughts were on that person as a potential match.

I'm a pluralist when it comes to the soulmate concept, as I think most astrologers, mediums, etc. are nowadays. The movie _Cloud Atlas_ portrays my view fairly well. Twin souls/Twin flames seems to be the dominant singular soulmate view now, and I don't really buy into it.

South/North Node is where I've gotten the most info. there, and its really about lessons and past lives, not so much popular notions of "karma" in terms of debt or reward transference. Retrograde planets also, and I've read a little on it, but have seen a lot of variation in the info there.
