stay out of Taurus friends zone?

I met this girl who is a Taurus and I'm a Leo. We hung out our first time and got drinks went very well. So then the next time we got together breifly just a quick hangout, she was at a party and invited me beforehand, I came by and took her home cause she didn't have a safe ride.. Then the weekend I took her out to dinner, and a movie.. Mind you a few times I wanted to kiss her but we literally met less than a week ago at this point and I didn't want to move too fast, because i know taurus girls like to go slow. So we hung out again a few days later and saw another movie.. and got a drink. Once again everything went very I well and I always have an easy time making her laugh. What is hard though is when I drop her off her drivway is always full, so I just pull up along the curb and she just kind of gets out of the car, says thanks and tells me to text her again soon or for the weekend. (I thought she was getting out cause she was afraid if we started kissing or something, someone in her house would see and she was embarrassed about it), so here is the big one.. We go out for dinner and then rent a movie and go back to her place.. I sit down before her to see if she'd sit next to me. She puts in the movie, and goes to the other couch.. I'm thinking wtf.. After a while I was tired and told her I was leaving.. she walked me out, and kind of stood a few feet away, and she asked what i had goin gon this weekend.. then I left. I figured I was tired of guessing whats going on so I decided to text her and say, hey I was thinking of kissing you goodnight but didn't want to scare you away.. (obviously if I felt it was right I would of just went for it, but this was meerly me just testing her..) So shes like, that is really sweet but I'm not looking for anything like that right now.. I told her I wasn't either but thought maybe it was a worth a shot.

Idk is she just taking things slow like a normal taurus, or just really not interested?

Also, if i didn't text her for most of the next day, she usually would make contact with me, and asked what I was upto.. I thought for sure she was interested in me.. Hard to believe shes not "looking for anything" based off of the vibes I was getting from her.

I figure now, I will just kind of drop her.. I'm not interested in the friends zone.. Either she will go with it and we both go on our way, which saves me the headache of trying to get her still, or she will go crazy without me showing her any attention a

It honestly almost sounds to me as if shes using you for dinner and dates, like someone thats going to spend on her during the weekends with no strings attatched.

Maybe she's just a girl who is enjoying a young mans company and having some laughs without wanting anything heavy at this point. Maybe she's a girl completely happy with herself and honest with herself as to what she wants and does not want in her life. Must everything be analyzed unto death.

Who hasn't been, but it's not about ego really. It's about accepting that no matter how fab we are, sometimes we just don't suit. Like you say, it is what it is. I wasn't aware this was about me, but if you'd like it to be well giddyup.

If it please you. At times it's better to shed it. What I find interesting..and this is time and time again on this board..is how quick everyone is to slander someones character with one aspect of a story. Nothing complete, just bits and pieces of it. Not one of us knows this girl, not one of us. Based on ones personal experience one can give their opinion on things, offer a helping hand, give perspective..but no one has the whole of it.
Indeed it seems more apt for everyone to make excuses for someones behavior so they're not culpable for their part in it, to softly toe their own baggage into a corner somewhere. Musing on dxp more than this young mans predicament. The human condition.

That's all well and good, it's from a good place. My concern was branding this girl, painting her with a brush that may not be accurate. That is unfair, she's not here to have her say.

And for his part, I don't question either his sincerity or puzzlement a bit.

Is she allowing you to pay for everything? If so, then she's definitely just passing the time away with you because you seem "nice enough".

Look, she's being forthright with you on what you can expect from her. She's giving you the option on whether you wanna put up with that arrangement or not. So, do you?

I'm a leo (female) that is very familiar with the taurus. When they want you they move fast. They are a fellow fixed sign so you should understand quite well how immovable and stubborn they can be once the mind is made up.
