Taurus signs are often considered to have a strong focus on the present and comfort, but they do not typically struggle with object permanence. The distraction mentioned is more about personality traits than developmental stages. Object permanence is a developmental milestone usually reached by infants and not related to zodiac signs.
Well I'm not really.... Wait... SQUIRREL!!!....
Ok sorry, I saw a squirrel.. So what i was going to say was I don't feel like I'm easily distra.... WHOA!! Look at THAT!!!!
Sorry, found a gum wrapper under my desk... Its pretty!! Wait... What are we talking about..—
*dropping object out of mouth to put it back in* I fink I pooped my pants.
All joking aside, I can and do get distracted by something lovely. A candle flame flickering, a well cut stone. Watch the way the light dances, refracts and pulls one in. To turn it slowly and see the way the light catches each side. The sunrise and sunset, the way the sunlight dapples off leaves in the spring and summer. The lightening rending the deep steel blue sky. The slow spiral down of autumn leaves. A roaring fire. The way silk mellowly gleams as it slides through your hand. Watching a bead of sweat drip down a body. Slowly pulling on a black thigh high stocking. The way musical notes stay suspended in air like crystal, a bird in flight. Anything that I find beautiful it immediately pulls me in and has my undivided and rapt attention.
When I was married I was absolutely fascinated with my wedding set. And I would amuse myself thinking that I was Crow. The light would catch the diamond and garnets while driving and I would indeed have to pull them away. I told myself ( and laughed about it ) that I would crash into an electric pole if I wasn't careful so I would turn the stone underneath my hand to operate the vehicle properly. 🙂
lol Taurguy 😛
So, this apply to your SO also? I swear when I'm THERE with him, all is wonderful. Minute I walk away its like he forgets I exist. And then is wondering why I'm curious if he's still interested in me when I see him the next time. Like "what? something wrong?" Making me really question if the words match the actions. I can move on, I'm not gonna go kill myself or something if he's not still into me. But why say he is and then forget I exist when Im not physically present?
actually, i dont think is true.
i think my taurean nature is what enables me to have dogged focus. when a job need be done and all others have given up, i remain. i can become so fixated on getting it right, getting it done, that days can go by before i recognize that i haven't truly connected with anyone or anything outside of work.
sure, i have the attention span of a gnat, but i blame my aries placements for that. when i'm decidedly taurus, i'm pretty "fixated."
I think that could explain it too Caligula.
Homer Simpson is a Taurus lol

So this is a little bit tongue in cheek, but I'm starting to wonder if Taureans ever graduated from developmental age 9 months.. I have heard from several different taurus that it is very common for you to be easily distracted by whatever shiny object is in front of you at the time and forget the rest of the world exists. True? That would explain a lot if it is.
