Taurus experience

Since my post I have found out some information from a mutual friend of mine and the Taurus'... The taurus has said that he thinks I am the girl for him but it's all happened at the wrong time. I do feel the same way about him but I guess I am more of a risk taker and willing to take a "just see what happens" approach. We have not had sex or been intimate apart from kissing and he is pretty shy but very respectful which is what makes me like him even more! I'm willing to be very patient with this and continue with my day to day life. If I know there is a chance for me and him so should I just drop a friendly text now and again or just completely disappear and no contact?

Seriously...no sex by the way. Have independence and communication is cool.. Keep it together, don't rush and take your time. Enjoy your life and if you guys compromise, adapt, and talk openly go ahead. Maybe just wrong timing, maybe wrong person. Just be friends get to know each other better. Build a foundation and see. You will know soon.

Just looking for a bit of friendly advice. This is my first time/experience with a Taurus.
I've kind of hit a brick wall with my Taurus in that he has confused me some what. He has told me that I am perfect for him, it would take a hell of a lot to beat me and knows I am good for him. He has said he a closed book atm and is not 100% and now has basically backed off from me completely. This has kinda come out of the blue as everything was great between us. Having read through a few posts on here, it seems the disappearing act is common with Taurus and I understand his need for space. I just kinda want to know if this is now dead in the water between us or should I wait it out and expect that he may come back to me?
