Taurus Men... Casual or nah?

Taurus minds.... is there a chance for a " casual" sexual relationship to develop into more for you or do you lose respect for the person?

I am seeing a Taurus that I've know for years and it is supposed to be casual, we've both been burned and work a lot so we agreed to not put any relationship rushing stress into the mix. From everything I've read neither of our signs really DO casual and it doesn't feel casual; we stay over at each other's places 4 or 5 nights a week, he takes me out to dinners and to hang out with his friends, he constantly tells me how sexy I am, how much he wants me, how classy and collected I am. It really feels like something utterly magical. The sex is marathon and out of this world and he has had no bones about telling me it is so for him as well. (That Scorpio/Taurus turn up) In a conversation with a male Taurus friend tonight he told me that if I were in a non-relationship like that with him he'd lose respect for me and it would fizzle out... got me thinking. I'm not even remotely in a hurry to DTR (I can easily wait 2 years for it) but he means a lot to me and now it's nagging me in the back of my mind that he will inevitably lose interest bc I haven't put my foot down. Is my Taurus friend being jealous or do Taurus men really lose respect for you for sleeping with them like that?

Right! We have been friends for 12 years, got closer and more involved for about 2 months and decided not to rush anything as he was deploying for the 6 months, now he's been back for two months we are doing this casual thing.

My longuest relationship started with a one night stand. Being casual at first was very comforting without a need to put words on things.
I really enjoyed this, could focus on the feeling of being each other without any pressure. Grey area..
Eventually I got attached and my love started to grow (after 1.5 years). We did not make it at the end (4years) for some values that were missing, but I never looked down on someone because we are casual. I actually like it, make me feel reassured that we both enjoy physically and that wont be any problem in the future.

@OP- I can only do casual for so long though.
I can treat my special friends though casually and remain that so it doesn't change into much expectations or pressure. But if I get intense in my friendship with a guy. I tend to unleash the emotions that can be too strong. And start analyzing everything and thoughts about why we are friends or haven't made the jump yet as I am an initiator and express my feelings alot. Put on the line and see..the signs I have had in my life.

@wicked- Gemini, Sagittarius, and Aries all don't normally know how to handle my intensity of how serious I am about everything I come to question. Imy my friendship with them I often question lots of doubts, the lying, or inconsistencies between. Usually it starts with immediate attraction to physical attraction to it narrowing it down to just friends with benefits.
I usually run from them as I can see that I bend, compromise, and communicate way more than them.
