The Truth....

wow Taurus bull very true and straight to the point we test people over and over again so we know 100% that you will be our first our last our everything.
One thing I feel that was left out is that the older Bulls will, when the time is right, tell their partner how they feel. It festers inside until we can't contain it anymore. Expressing how we feel is like playing an instrument or painting or writing, because we express emotions through our art. It might not be a simple "I love you". It could be a "you are my world", "I can't live without you", etc, etc. Truth is, it will be almost poetic, romaticism in words and from the heart. It might take months to express what we feel, but know that it's real. We are truthful about what's in our heart, sometimes brutally honest if it's not what you want to hear. If you corner us with a "I love you" before we are ready, the younger Bulls might run, while the older will tell you "I'm not there yet". We are not trying to be callous, we move much slower with our emotions. We are being gentleman by letting you decide whether or not to invest more time for an outcome that may or may not be in your favor.

My bull has told me that 'he is not there yet' - not ready for a relationship, but still keeps in contact almost every day and says he feels more for me than friendship. What can I do to prove to him that I'm worth his time and effort without smothering him or scaring him away?

The main thing of having relationship is when it comes to cautiousness and knowing if this person is not toxic, manipulator and flaky.
Even a bull with Aries and Cancer placements will eventually learned a lot of lesson, but with mentality scars on since it did happen and realized of their impulsivly & blinded mistakes.
The main problem with people (and mostly female) is that they can't see themselves because of their insecurities that they need someone to be loved, falling into a very obsessional & idealistic of that person without knowing who he actually is (that's a biggest red flag there, because it will takes advantages on you) and fear of losing someone because they are weak to themselves or fear of being judged by their family, friends etc. Even the worst thing is that they forget their spouse is a human being instead of trophy..
Also what most of the world forgets nowadays is direct communication when it comes to relationship. Especially when it comes to respect each other, if this person doesn't respect your wishes or your feelings and in general then it's best to end the relationship right away. It's their loss anyway since they doesn't respect of you and you are also avoid that bullet!
And I definitely agree with this part: '...but generally not lasting due to the games, manipulation and drama. ' Because to me it's childish and already seeing insecure person struggle with power.
Agree with this although direct communication doesn't always come so naturally to non Taurus.

The part about not being interested in fantasies, role playing or talking dirty is a lie.
I've seen a bunch of the Taurus females on here say they were not into talking dirty - it was a turnoff. I love it, but maybe bc of my Venus.
Fantasies/role playing - I would think it would take a highly extroverted person. What does that involve? A closet full of nurse and maid outfits? You have to script this stuff ahead of time? Just seems really strange - kinda like acting. How can you have the restraint and control to do all that acting in the heat of the moment? Not being critical, I guess I just don't understand...

It is really not that. I can probably imagine better scenarios than you can. *throws down gauntlet*. But its just that "acting" to me seems inferior to real sincere passionate sex - even at cross-purposes with it. Especially as a Scorp, aren't you trying to get in touch with what's most real and raw about the other person? Strip away layers and bond with them on the most intimate level? The dress-up role-playing stuff I hear about through friends that are into that - seems really superficial/lighthearted/playful, almost like a flirtatious/humorous sort of thing. And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, its just not what I'm into I guess. If you're truly expressing a real side to your self in these scenarios, why not just express that, without it being some sort of pre-scripted role? What I hear about just seems a little cheesy, like I'd be embarrassed for my partner trying to act this stuff out, and embarrassed to do it myself.
It's not really my cuppa tea fella. For the same kinda reasons stated above. However, I couldn't resist the wind up...

LOL - my Eros is in Taurus and my Psyche is in Scorpio. I've never really looked into the asteroids much as I wonder just how accurate/influential any of that is. Plus it seems hard to find extensive writing on it, at least on the web....

Well, Psyche is supposed to be soul related whereas Eros is supposed to be sexual related. Don't quote me on this stuff though and I will stand corrected if inaccurate but this is my interpretation.
The Psyche thing being your soul and your soul being in Scorpio indicates a Scorp like tendency when you go about soul searching. A great example is you asking this question. You're not just satisfied with a surface level answer. You want to explore and enjoy exploring yourself and your own soul in a very investigative way.

The Scorp you like, and let's face it, you're too damn scared or lazy to have gone there, is maybe triggering something there. I know Psyche is supposed to be about self but throw in the sun and Eros placements of the two of you and it's pretty hot but unexplainable stuff.
I take it she's a venus Scorp too? Fuck me, that's a hell of a cooking pot!
My ex sun and Venus Virgo was the most shy and uncomfortable with personal and sexual stuff. He had Eros in Scorp and I have to say our sexual chemistry was the best. He wasn't even my usual type AT ALL but there was a deep and intense connection there. I'm not putting all that down to astrology and frankly he was a complete arsehole in other respects but it was interesting to read the chart and see the Eros/Psyche placements.
Personally, and from what you've described, I don't think your attraction and obsession with the Scorp really will pass. It is a shame you did not go for it at that time. Although just because there's an attraction it doesn't mean you always have to act on it. I would say there's still a level of attraction with the ex Virgo but head rules heart on that matter and it is a been there done that, no going back thing.
I'm not convinced you're entirely happy with the Sag. That's not to say you'd be happier with the Scorp. Typical bull taking the easy option but then I'm typical Scorp with the 'go for it' you only live once experience thing albeit not particulary recklessly

Yeah, this is me, and this sounds like heaven to me. Probably why I am drawn to the Scorp style of things. I like the intimacy to be very serious/heavy/emotional. My Sag will crack a joke or something (often bc she is *obviously* just not comfortable if things get too heavy/intimate) and it is a HUGE turnoff...lol. Good lighting, music, surroundings, and drinks.....that is as much of a setup as I like.

+1 Beautifully said. I'm the same way. I perform and wear costumes all the time. I can be in character for the fun of it... but, simply CANNOT use that ability in the bedroom. It's too serious of an affair to take lightly and put simply: a turn-off.

Well I am 37 year old Taurus... so here is my evaluation..
It has taken me many years to self assess and realise the truth of who I am, at first I believed i was a playa, however the truth is this...
The younger Taurus are driven with a high sexuality, an innate ability to understand women and the charm, sexiness and charisma to attract them... lots of women are fooled by that attraction... however the truth is that we are always carrying a mental checklist of our perfect woman, so when we spend time with you, have intimate relationships, charm you etc we are testing, being patient and allowing the lady to reveal the 'real you'.
Everybody is on their best behaviour early in relationships, so we realise this creates a smoke screen.
However we 'love' women and are pigeon holed as ladies men, unfaithful and players, my perception of that is just bitter ex's who wished they were 'The One'.
Now I realise this sounds arrogant but my point is we have confidence, attracting women is easy to us and we know what we want, if you are not that unfortunately we will leave you.
However we will remain friends because we are gentleman and will thank you for the experience.
The key to keeping a Taurus man is to realise what he brings to the table..
Chivalry, Being a gentleman, respect and he will do anything for you if he loves you.
We are very slow, patient and quiet, this is usually taken as a non interest... Do not rush us, be patient and if we think you are the one... you will know... because we will move heaven and earth to show you...
The key to realising if we love you is simple.... by the things we do for you... nothing else... If we take out the rubbish, hold a door open for you, clear our planners to spend time with you, cook for you, complete DIY, let you have a lie in whilst we take the kids to school etc, then we are in love with you... simple.
However be very careful with games and infedilty because we detest it and will not tolerate, we also are not big fans of needless drama...
