Oh they pick your brain. I do i have an air moon and mercury in Taurus, so im usually looking and listening for something. Most likely common interests and goals for starters, then work on your life back ground.

The most definite sign for me that I care for you is if I share things with you (example: I share a link with you or send you something that I think it's of interest for you) / I wanna talk to you / I'm interested in your opinions.
When I truly start to care about you I start giving you small gifts 🙂 no matter the holiday or anything --> but that usually happens when I'm becoming interested in you romantically and I know it's something reciprocated.
I also love sending postcards 🙂 So if I ask for your snail mail address, be sure that you're on my lists of interests.
Who is the taurus you're interested in? Is she a woman? Are you romantically interested in her?
When I was in uni it took me a whole year to really start to open up to the colleagues in my class. Most of them were actually shocked as what an awesome personality I was because the year before apparently I looked too reserved or cold to them and they thought I didn't like them or something.
I think if you're interested in a taurus lady you should be more expressive and be sure to grab her attention. Show your personality and be as honest about showing yourself 🙂 Don't be afraid of me. Find common background you both resonate to and you'll surely start to warm her up to you!

I'm both practical in the way I take on life as I take on any sort of relationship with other people. For me it has to have a meaning, otherwise I'm not very interested and therefore I keep to myself.

I guess I just ask because this girl is a very close friend and some days she seems to love me and other days she seems completely detached.
Sometimes she will text me all night - send me pictures of things I like, videos, etc. and others I can hardly get a response. She has gotten me little gifts every now and again and she always shares her food ?

As a taurus woman, yes I do try to hide it. I try to hide how I feel about someone usually when I feel insecure about how they feel about me. We have sooo much love to give and care way too much about others rather than ourselves that we worry we can come off as being too strong. I like the man I am with to be open with me about his feelings so i can then do the same, but dont come on tooo strong

She sounds like she's into u but is protecting her heart. Just be yourself , Tauruses really appreciate a person that is 100% themselves

If I care about you, I will genuinely ask about your day and want to know all the details about it because I'm carefully listening, especially if you had a bad day. I want to be the one to make things better for you however possible. This goes for family, friends or significant other. I enjoy buying my loved ones gifts; big or small. Just knowing that I put a huge smile on your face is priceless to me.

I'm not one for passivity for too long. If I were you at least I'd try to initiate more.
You can always leave her a message in times when you feel she seems closed off along the lines of "hey! how are you?" and proceed into tell her about your day or whatever else you feel like sharing that would open a channel of communication again.
Also start to become aware of how you interact with her too. You say she seems closed off sometimes but other times she's very nice and sweet. But how are you? What's your input? Maybe sometimes she also steps back because of what she thinks she translates coming from you and your reactions 🙂 I don't know.

I don't know but personally I like to always make relationships that I'm interested always advancing. I get bored and unhappy if some things just come to a stale halt - here I mean about romantic relationships/interests.
Pussyfooting in the early stages is cute, but at one point it becomes boring. The same goes for relationships that never truly start to take off because both people are scared of each other / too scared of initiating anything ---> this actually happened to me at one point in life with a Gemini boy.
Also, more than anything I appreciate honesty. And with age personally I want to know pretty much soon how I stand with another person in order to stop wasting anymore time with them 🙂 If you want something from her, tell her, or at least start a path toward that direction in one way or another. Clarify with yourself what you want from this close friend and then start to take action 😄
