I have been emailing with their sales manager. I was trying to get some rooms blocked off during the Olympics, but they are already full 😢 but they want me to come across the pond anyway and meet them and see their hotel. I may do it early next year, but I just received another opportunity to go to Spain in January, so I don't know. I have too much going on, and I can't do everything (which pisses me off) LOL!

It comes up correctly for me DaBull, do you have your profanity filter on or off?

I think it automatically puts the 'kinder, gentler' word in place of swear words on threads in case little peepers are about. So, thread title is DaButter, but handle is DaShit. 😄

Hey Lady! Thanks for your support. Oh, I don't care in respect to the budget per se, plus at this hotel they were going to give me a deep discount since they want me to check it out. I'll chat with you offline about this, but essentially I have gotten some recommendations from some people for different boutique type of hotels in London area. I like to keep it in the 3stars or above category. I usually am a 4-5 star person; however, when working with others, sometimes they want to keep it in a certain price point, so 3 stars will work. Obviously, I've been abroad, so I know that what American people view as one thing, can sometimes be completely different in Europe.
I'll keep you updated either way! And yes, you are always thought of and missed 🙂

Are ya' going across the pond VB—? Good for you, if you are!

I am, in the fall. I've decided "Screw the expenses, full speed ahead!" I'll be spending a week with my friend, that will save quite a lot. We're going to eat well, laugh loads, and enjoy each others company. I've never flown this long, EVER. So thoughts are spinning in my head about luggage, lay overs, different plane boardings, blah blah blah. But definitely looking forward to one shining face when my butt hits Heathrow. Can't flipping WAIT. Might need a diaper, but can't wait.

Done did it! THANKS. 🙂 Lord, butterflies in my tummy just thinking about it. I thought 3 pair of jeans, undergarments, t's, a wool sweater or two, I'll be standing upright in Doc Martens, jeans, t and nice sweater ( and my white gold hoops, tyvm ) and one banging dress. Don't need much makeup, my personal fave in scent, my passport, ID and debit card. Oh, toothbrush! Everything else I can get there. Good to go. 🙂 Might be able to cram it all into my carry on if I'm lucky. Heaven only knows. Gahhh, I'm a bundle of nerves and I haven't even booked my flight.

VB, wrap up real warm it gets cold here 😢 Right now it is suppose to be summer and it's coldddd 😢

I will DaBull, not to worry. 🙂 Hmmm, perhaps I should bring my peacoat or a wool wrap as well? Definitely warm pajamas. Boooo on the cold summer. I figured it had to be cool, my friend was on cam the other night in wool sweater with the heating on. That's chilly.

We'll swap weather, I'll take the cool and revel in it, you can have these soupy 80-90?? F days. Yucko.
