Simpsons Character to Be Killed Off?

Hey have you guys heard? According to executive producer Al Jeans, a major Simpsons character will be killed off. Who do you thinks think it will be? Even though I have not watched the show in awhile, I think it might be Abe Simpson (Homer's father).

they need to take that show off the air. long over due. love it tho

@Superseven: I feel as though Abe might die because he is a main character that a lot of viewers have an emotional attachment too and he has been seen a lot with the main Simpsons family cast.

@Sag89: Yeah, the Simpsons have run its course. It's been on for 25 years and the newer episodes just aren't as good as the old ones. Same thing applies to shows like Spongebob, Family Guy (to an extent), etc.

Hopefully its Bart and Homer who die, so that this once great show can finally be pulled off the air.

@ScorpioFish: Yeah, given how the new episodes are not even that good anymore, the Simpsons really needs to call it quits. It would be awesome if they brought back futurama again though.

but i think it may be Abe Simpson, Barney, or Apu since he's always getting stuck up and robbed. It cant be Homer - he MAKES the show. Not Marge because come on that would be insane. Maybe one of her sisters will die. Idk, but I cant wait to find out. I'd like to see Skinner die - he's always been weak as hell.

Simpsons Seasons 1-9 are the absolute best.

Brilliant writing, funny dialogue and good variety of "adventures."

Seasons 10+ are empty trash by comparison.

They wanted to end the Simpsons ages ago. Fox won't let them. That's why you saw a string of Fox insults for awhile there. They were intentionally trying to get the show canned.

Yeah later seasons seem a bit too random for my liking. Still gave me a laugh a few times lol.

From what I know they'll be taking on community's vote as well. Apparently Milhouse is winning. Poor milhouse.

Oh wow, poor Milhouse lol. I read on this one site that the author of the article thought that Rabbi Whatshisname (Krusty's dad) would die. Plus he gives a full in depth analysis of why he thinks so.
