i just had to look up to see who the crazy mo-fo creator/writer of this skit:

feb.10 (vince gilligan)?
pisces moon/libra mars

on his wiki file, he's influenced by these guys too:
Stanley Kubrick, Sergio Leone, Francis Ford Coppola, Coen brothers, Quentin Tarantino, David Chase.

🙂 Wonderful influences!

yup me and hubs are playing catch up too.

It's very very good!!! Every episode is just exciting but unnerving. Very edge on the seat kind. And there's such an unpredictably and predictability since his style has both. You can see it coming but it switches. Sometimes, it's so sad and sometimes, it's relieving...*whew!!

the main character was on "Argo" the new film by Ben Affleck. 🙂

he played part of the U.S. Government.

I loved Argo! It was pretty intense back then, (crazy world it is) still is...

Don't you see? WW has to die. That's where he's headed. He's become a monster. He won't stop unless someone stops him.

Jesse has earned that privilege. He's watched WW devolve into what he is now (front row seat) and recognizes it's only going to get worse. He has to be the one to do it. Plus, paybacks for what he did to the girlfriend's kid. Once he finds out...

In some ways, Jesse is stronger that WW now.

As an aside, as if anyone watches 'Weeds' anymore!

LOL yeah, Weeds is weed, Breaking Bad is meth. Comparing weed to meth is like comparing root beer to brake fluid. Also, Nancy from Weeds sometimes takes crap from the people she's involved with. Anybody who gives Walt crap is liable to get killed in a spectacular fashion.

Anyway, in the 1st episode of season 5, Walter buys an M60 machine gun. I'm thinking he may need it to duke it out with somebody big, maybe some cartel members or something, not to mention Vince Gilligan described Walt as Scarface, and we all know how he went out in a blaze of glory at the end. All I know is I want to see him smoke someone with that M60.

Oh yeh I wasn't comparing the two drugs, I think people getting busted for weed have less of a harsh time than for meth hahahahahaha. I didn't think of the gun/scarface connection, that could make things interesting.

I wasn't specifically comparing the two drugs either, but was rather using the comparison between them as a comparison between Breaking Bad and Weeds. An analogy IOW, saying Breaking Bad is hardcore and Weeds is kiddie stuff.

Never seen it, just watched the trailer in OP.
Looks like an Emmy magnet.

Has dude shown any signs of the Cancer?
Or is this one of those shows where after all that crap he does he finds out he doesn't have cancer and will spend life in prison?

Then when his ring falls off. I honestly feel like Walt sometimes. I try to do good and I feel that pain of people not understanding.

my husband and I have completely stopped watching this show. many many months ago. It was like that with Walking dead too.
we are both consistently with detective shows though, but they're seasonal.
