Intelligent Women, turn on/off?

Im so sick of hearing about how "smart is sexy" ,but as soon as a man feels his partner has at least 1/4 of a brain he either chickens out from the entire relationship or challenges her for some dominant male shit. So, are men interested in intelligence or are they challenged by it?

Most men I know are NOT "challenged" by intelligent women.

They are "challenged" by women who think they know better than men and try to prove it at every opportunity. And when I say "Challenged" I mean annoyed and turned off.

Even "better" are the lectures from a woman where it becomes obvious she's not the most intelligent in the room.

Not saying I would use the opportunity to hand her as much rope as she likes until I give it a yank, but it can be entertaining, at least for five minutes.

We are not saying that IQ is the best/only way to quantify one's intelligence, rather it gives us an idea of what is going on in your head.

I'll agree I'd like her to be thinner and prettier than I am...neither of those are very big requests though. I don't know what you mean by "lower" but I definitely don't want someone I think I am "above". Don't care how much or little money she has. I got enough for me and mine, don't need hers either way.

Intelligence though, that's what the thread was about. I want a smart woman, but not one who feels the need to boast about or prove her intelligence. Arrogance isn't attractive in anyone. I can handle a dumb bitch.

my husband says the same thing.

but he is very choosy. Despite his fire placements....and the fire placements loving beauty, (superficial) he won't be with a stupid woman too long.

I know sometimes i'm super gullible and ditzy, but i'm very aware of what my husband loves. Also, depth. He loves a woman with depth.
