Tell me about it..poor little Virgo me had to deal with all of those Ego's all the damn time 😄 The only way I could survive that was developing a damn strong ego myself lol, though I had a really fun childhood for the most part, with so many action-oriented people around there was never a dull moment! Statistically, most marriages were with Leos (although it was a slight favorite). Can explain it because Virgos love to compliment and Leos love receiving compliments, heh.
I get along well with Pisces but not sure if the passion is there.
I think Scorpios are great but maybe too fast for the slow Virgos. I still think it's the best match though.
Worst matches would be Sags, Aries. Aries totally irks me with the constant remarks and pushiness.

Its not rare for Virgos to be extroverted, in fact most Virgos I meet in real life are as extroverted and people-persons as your typical Libras, Sags, etc (that includes me)

All the virgos that I have come across out in rl ...are def introverted. That's not saying all virgos are like that...but its not common for "us" to be an extrovert
