true i don't like being indebted to people

but i do like it when they're indebted to me

also if i wanna 'do it right,' then i have to do it myself

i can only delegate to someone i trust

But sometimes I feel it is more about hard to let go? There are people who learn to share/delegate and move on to newer things. Moving on also seems to be a problem 😄

It's not hard to delegate. I just fucking hate having to continuously repeat myself. Which happens when dealing with a lot of people.

But isn't that a good or even necessary skill to have - mainly sharing? With me even when I know I don't have to do it all and there may be willing people, I find it hard to let go. Also, I am mostly talking about things I am used to doing.

It is difficult for Virgos to do that. What works for you? It is also difficult to ask anyone for anything. You want to do everything on your own. I guess Virgos don't mind doing everything on their own, but sometimes I think that is not the best way? Also does not get you much visibility. And you stress yourself out. What are your thoughts?

For work related delegation:

Learn to trust the competency of your team. No one likes a micromanager. Provide written guidelines for your expectations and then take a step back and let them do it. Every team has its go to person that people turn to to avoid having to bother their supervisor. Figure out who that person is, and use them as an asset. It will take some of the stress off of you if you let them help you.

At home delegation: Get a chore board or whatever other organization tool that works to delegate. Allow people to complete things their way as long as it gets done, even if it makes you cringe a little bit. Admit you're overwhelmed

I think for me it is not about trust, it is also not about micromanaging when you are the only person involved in that work. It is more about how do you learn to let go, start involving others and even maybe move on to newer things

I delegate. Am tired of having too much piled on me. I give away stuff I know a kid can do and explain it short n sweet. Thankfully the ones I get help from just get it and I can walk away.

Didn't hesitate to tell my boss the other day that it's alot of work pilng on. She took some off my hands.

Don't care about being super woman at work.

Exactly this, I think this is how it should be. I want to be able to do that. Train the young ones and let them take on or share what you've been doing for long. My problem is how to let go and not want to do everything on your own.

So more like, this project is your baby, and you're afraid of what happens if others start meddling with it. Maintain creative control, delegate the grunt work that won't alter your vision. Kind of like having an assistant.

In terms of the newer things. I say you can juggle two balls at once as long as you can find a way to give them equal time. If not see the first one all the way through first. Then initiate something new.

More like the right thing is to train others, have more hands involved? I guess starting small and gradually letting other take charge of small chunks could be the way to go?
