If virgo was a planet...

If virgo was a planet just like our mother earth, would you like to live in it ?

Hmmm...Well. I enjoy this Earth place dealie. Not necessarily the people on it, but, the Earth itself isn't so bad a place. From what I understand, living on another planet would be difficult (impossible?). And...I enjoy the Virgos. I could do it. Yep. I'd live on Planet Virgo.

If vergo was a planet it would be like pluto cold and hard like the virgo hearts.

I know you were just kidding, but I feel the need to defend the poor Virgies anyway.

1. Virgos are neither cold nor hard. They are reserved and realistic, making them sometimes *appear* dispassionate and aloof. There is a fire within.

2. Pluto is so not cold or hard either! Pluto is about transformation and the depths of...well, everything. It is also about rooting out The Truth.

Mercury is about communication, primarily. It would be cool if Pluto and Mercury merged...Muto, I think I'll call it. "Muto: The Utopian Planet". The perfect planet (for me to live on...lol)

I'll keep an eye out for the Discovery Channel special. 🙂

you are right, I know a lot of virgo men and the virgo women I know say they are never hard.

My Dad is a Virgo, and is really hard to like! He is always always criticising everyone else. He likes to pick out people's flaws, or what he perceives to be a flaw, hold it up to that persons face and say 'Look! Look what you are!!" Doesn;t he relise that that is flaw within itself?? I am Pisces, the complete opposite, for a sensitive person like myself, we don;t get on at all. I ended up getting certain jobs just to keep him happy. I am not that pathetic or unable to live my own life, its just that I wasn't doing anythign at the time anyway, so I did what kept him happy, while I thought about what I really wanted to do. The thing is, i have reached a precipice, crunch time, crossroads, and I can't keep doing that anymore. I have to make a decision and go my own path my own way, make my own mistakes. My mistake was that I recounted this to him, and he CANNOT get his head around it! YOu work every day, stay in yor home town, and thats it. Its like he is a vulcan android, non-human without feelings. Whats the deal. I can't rely on his or my mums support now. I can't tell them anything, because the criticism is just draining of vital life energy. But the thing is I am not sure what I want to do. If I am to tell him anything, there cannot be any uncertainty involved, because he doesn;t accept uncertainty. If I say, I am interested in Philosophy, they take it literally and expect me to go about arranging courses etc etc. but I was only speculating, communicating. I think I have to just realise that he doesn;t run my life, and let what he says roll of my back , instead of taking it all in. Oh well, I'm sure it will work itself out!

OHOOOOOOOOOOOO this sucks, why not leave, then come back say in five years, do not commucate in that time, just walk in like you had never left and if he starts cookiemonstering make the comment nothings changed

Hello to you Verity and I've read your posts re. your cappy mom and virgo dad and how you are a sensitive pisces soul and all this tension in the home is unsettling you....it's very hard to deal with constant criticism and high expectations from anyone in your life but when it's your own parents...it's like climbing an inclimable mountain....all I can say is that your dad being virgo - his middle name is criticize - he literally can't help it or keep his mouth shut - he was a critical baby! a critical boy! a critical teen! and now a critical man and father!.....your mom being cappy, well she was a serious, hard working baby!, a serious, hard working little girl! a serious, hard working teen! and now a serious, hard working woman and mother!!! - it's all about the perfect work with cappies and virgos - What you have to see is they are not going to change the way they operate (unless the sun stops spinning or pigs fly) - so no use talking too much or trying to express to them how you feel or what you want.....you've got to try to think outside the box, you've go to harden up your heart and toughen up yourself a little, and you've got to be an actor - not a reactor (don't immediately feel bad when they go on and react to what they are saying - rather act out what you want to the best of your ability!) - so it's a matter of closing your ears to their constant chutterings and verbal wishes and centering yourself and focusing on what you need to do to achieve what you need to do. Get yourself a repeat phrase such as "Thank you for your advice and opinion..but this girl is gonna do Philosophy" or whatever you are going to do.....When they start...just keep repeating this phrase to them like a parrot.....or like an vulcan android!!!:-) to use your own expression!!!.......and get out of that house and mingle with your own gang as much as you can....
