Is Virgo superior to Gemini?

I feel that there are people who are superior in different areas of interest than I am and vice versa.

I have a Gemini sun and a Virgo moon. So I can see both sides.

Dumb people irritate me, but to highly intelligent people I most likely seem less superior to them?

If y'all consider Virgo superior to Gemini then you gotta expalin why? Usually I can recognize Virgo for example the two signs gesticulate and even exaggerate their mannerisms right? (for example both Virgo and Gemini have very mobile expressive faces - and not counting out sharp rapid wit) - both signs can appear kinda 'goofy' which is cool its a lot of fun just to silently observe Mercury influenced people express themselves I swear lol. While I can recognize Virgo and be cognizant of a Mercurian similarity on a psychic level Virgo is still Virgo - that's where it ends - which usually gets me thinking that Virgos are 'exacting specialists' in a stereotypical sense. One Virgo's endeavor might be in hand crafting beautiful home furniture - a naturally skilled craftsman or woman, another one is skilled at manufacturing beautifully designed watches....from scratch, another Virgo is a chemist that formulates the products for a beauty enterprise, an anchorman like Bill O' Riley, so on, and hence in the stereotypical association Virgo is the sign of specialization, specialization in something or anything - meaning that every Virgo has their own specialistic proclivity - every Virgo gravitates towards their own individual orientations towards specialization. Where does this leave Geminis?

As far as mental capabilities .. yes

Certainly, there are always the exception to the rule and a few Gem's can be found who actually focus on the intellilectual, instead of the social aspects in life .. but, not many.

Most Gem's concern is their social engagements in all venues .. professinally, family, friends .. they just talk, talk, talk for the purpose of making friends and looking good, with very little concern if any as to whether what they are talking about has any meaning.

My SIL is pretty smart .. but, she's really the only one I know who would rather get by in life by using her "thinker" rather than her social graces.

So, my conclusion would be that Virgo is superiour .. but, not because it isn't possible within the Gem to be on the same level .. it's more by choice. So, I'll strike the "capability" part .. they are inferiour in the aspect that they believe that charm, looks will get them everywhere and this isn't so .. being good looking is great for the ego .. however, we are beings with intelligence too.

it can go either way with virgos. They can either sit there and listen most of the time with less talk or sit there and talk most the time with less listening. They are quick to listen however, I just think they become ignorant of what you're saying, though they do hear you, by the time it's their turn to talk. Because you know, what they say is priceless information and what you're saying means nothing. 🙂

Gems, they definately choose looks over intelligence. I know many Gems. I went out with a gem for two years, he substituted studying for eating, true nerd. And most of the gems I've met are extremely talented and intelligent with very high IQS but just didn't care, they thought it was normal or just something interesting about them, and didn't think it was that big a deal.

I think I know so many gems because my Ascendant is Gemini so if I meet someone who I can talk with for hours, most likely..they're gemini or virgo, or at least have some kind of mercury influence.

I think Geminis talk more than virgos simply because well...everyone knows virgos like thinking more than talking. ^__^

Gemini's out talk Virgo's .. FD, Virgo's don't talk all that much, they are pretty quiet folks, for the most part .. whereas, Gem's rarely stop talking.

Honestly, that's why I don't have the desire to call the pisces I know and I think they know why. They bring up the same thing from so many years ago. And they'll let me talk as soon as I convert my opinion. X_X

To even compare these two is a waste of time. I don't even believe that they share the same planetary dignity, so in my opinion they can't be compared becuase their behavior is different in PRACTICE, not ON PAPER; meet a Virgo in real life, and you'll see, we're not all the way that we're said we are. I'd have to say that I'm labeled as Virgo, but my personality is of my own making/choosing. Astrology in my belief is superficial, and dosen't deserve such focus becuase it can take away from the overall personality, simply by being called a Virgo, you're automatically considered shy,modest, meticulous, and an array of other bull that dosen't apply at all. These things are filled with adjectives, that are usually hit-or-miss. For most Virgos, we're precieved as something we aren't becuase of poor understanding/perception; feminine signs can't be judged the same way that masculine signs are because our mood of expression is internal, and not everything is displayed for everyone to bear witness to. Scorpio is fairly well understood, they are sexual, and are considered to be good or bad people. but Virgo isn't in the least. I'll leave the small-talk up to you guys, becuase this board was just a slow bomb just itching to blow.

I've been reading DXP for some time now, my best friend for 8 years is virgo.....best friend ever! But why do you assume a sign is superior than another? (of course, I'm a gemini 🙂 ) Every sign has a best trait.

I have entertained myself with the discussions on DXP for a few years now. I agree that many people born under the same sun sign or moon sign may share characteristics. To lump every sign into one stereotyped group is screening people in an extremely indistinct fashion and to stretch it by judging which sign is more superior is even more imprecise.

Everyone would probably define ?superiority? and ?inferiority? in their own way.

Btw?Since when is pointing out correct spelling proof of someone's inferiority?

I was being extremely sarcastic in this thread, do to the fact that the question posed was which sign was more superior; I found it utterly hilarious that someone who claims to be so much more superior can't spell nearly as well as my ?Gemini? self?

Oh, and in defense of myself?intellectual means educated, scholarly and academic.

fyi .. we are in a community where people are segregated appropriately, so it would be logical to comprehend that when we address people and talk about people, that we do so as though they belong to one of a group of 12. If it isn't liked that this happens in dxp, then don't subject yourselves to it and leave.

It appeared as though you weren't aware of this, from your response, so, I'm pointing that out for you, since your not understanding the basics of stereotyping, for if you did, you'd know that this is the exact way dxp is set up .. some things are hard to grasp, I know.
