You two are long distance, and I would assume you met online since you are in two different countries ..... and at a hint of him showing you attention like telling you sweet things or sending songs to you .... you jump at this to mean more, because your female heart pines to have more like all the other females in the world.


And so now, you've projected this desperate neediness onto a man, as if the man is suppose to do something about it.
