Shy lonely virgo here

Hello all,
I'm new to this board and like most virgos I'm very shy, uncomfortable with crowds. Though I have been told I look very attractive and have got pleasant personality (witty etc.,) I have trouble initiating conversations with girls. Even when I get a lot of vibes from girls who want to talk to me I just don't approach them. I never had a gf and don't want to be like this anymore. I want to get into a serious relationship. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Welcome to the club. Try online dating, if you take it seriously then you actually can meet some very decent people. I've never approached a girl in real life and I don't see myself doing that, not sober, anyway - despite feeling the urge to do it.

My chart has virgo splattered all over it, so I can relate. That's a lot of promised failure relationship wise.

I can relate too...I actually used to be more outgoing when I was younger. But being in school made it easier....now that im in the real world ..Ive become more guarded and shy (usually around new people)

So how old are you? And yes lets see that chart of yours 🙂

Don't take this the wrong way but you probably come off as needy due to the fact that you want to have a serious relationship. Also since you've never been in one your first steps will be awkward and apparently awkward these days can come off as "creepy" or "insecure". If this happens and your intention was not to be any of those then you've got some work ahead of you before you get into anything serious don't you.

Don't worry about getting into any relationships yet as women are the epitome of all evil. Once you learn how to use your balls properly, as women know how to use their vagina and breasts if they have any, you will have no problem knowing who and what you should get serious with as there is a lot of trash walking around thanks to such programs as jersey shore, 90210, the oc, twilight and all other vampire hollywood love where there shouldn't be love bullshit stories.

Do joke around, don't act like a dick unless it is neccesary, do brag and talk about yourself confidently, and so on and so forth.

Not all women are the epitome of evil....you just havent found the right one 🙂 silly cancer!

I am a Virgo male who has had a lot of trouble understanding women because I think that when I was younger in particular (growing up) I made certain assumptions about women that are not generally valid: in particular, I thought or supposed or imagined that the reason that I did not have a girlfriend (which is what I wanted more than anything in the world) was because as a child I was not sufficiently mature and serious. Because of this I went out of my way to become very "serious" which unfortunately on the whole women do not actually like. So there must have been some other reason why girls were not attracted to me. I think also many Virgo males (myself included) tend to put the women that we are attracted to on pedestals and are then shocked and pissed off when they then behave in undignified/unkind ways, which can lead to feelings of disillusionment and mistrust, which can be hard to get over.

That is so true. I also had one negative experience very early on and after that, I kind of pulled away from all relationship stuff for a long time.
For the longest time I believed that women must have such high standards that in no way they would take a second look at me, I was really wrong about that.

acrabbycrab12 - I know I sound desperate but not very much as I have mood swings of a typical virgo. I'm very contended with my life and love my single life. But every now and then when I'm bored and actually have nothing to do I will think how about a gal now..that's all.

LostinmyMind11 - I totally agree when I was in school I had no problem and I believe back then you wouldn't care much about these things anyway. I just turned 28 and I don't know how my chart looks like. Thanks

VirgoR - I like ShyMoo but sounds girly so let's leave it there 😉. May be I should mention this I'm only uncomfortable around extremely gorgeous girls or girls who I want to know better and spend some good time. I'm meeting the girls usually social settings ..sometimes work. I don't know how to look at my chart. Could you help?

virgodog58 - I agree with you..one of my buddies with whom I go to parties told me I should be less serious so that gals can come to me to talk 😉. Even I think I look very serious but sometimes I do smile 😄

Online dating means you're desperate? That's news to me, this is 2012 and there are plenty of people who can get dates IRL online dating.
You're awfully confident for a person who has never had a girlfriend.

True, the best way to get a real relationship is to go where everyone is up front with what they want. Dating sites are the best option and of course remember to make sure your astrology charts are compatible. I really hope you find a soul mate. 🙂 Good luck.

Wasn't probably directed at me but if it was, I'm doubting if such a thing (soul mate) exists. This virgo adopted a different attitude - running around and taking risks with people, seeing what comes out of it. The best advice for a virgo to meet someone who they're compatible with - don't be a virgo.
I used to have a requirement that if I don't see spending my life with a girl, I won't take the relationship further. That doesn't work at all!

I personally don't feel that charts really matter. My Aries and I are complete opposites... our chart compatibility is horrible. Yet, we make each other laugh a lot... and believe that this is worth it. Relationships don't have to be complicated.

Not to rain on your parade but, how long have you been together?
I used to think opposites work well too and initially they do. Unless it's more than a year, it really doesn't prove anything. Relationships get complicated, it's not a choice, they just do because life is complicated. It's easy to find someone who is great for you at that particular moment but the phases of life force people to change and re-evaluate themselves and their priorities. Ergo, the high divorce rate.

sv - I didn't mean that. I don't believe in online dating that's all. You spend a lot of time and end up with wrong person besides the very act of looking for people online will pull you away from your efforts to get more social. No offense.

My chart is pretty much exactly the same as yours (except I have a Pisces moon), so I'd say I understand what you're going through pretty well. Life is full of tough choices, either reinvent your social skills or go the alternative route.
