Hi everybody virgo-leo here. I was talking to a friend about the unnecessary need for hugs and handshakes that are "expected" nowadays at social places are events with perfect strangers. I think most people have been in a social situation where their forced to hug someone or shake a multitude of strange hands. I find it annoying and uncomfortable. I know some people like to kiss on the cheeks I think that is crazy. I just hide or say that I have a cold coming on. I don't know what do you guys think.

I always overthink & get anxious w/ the whole physical greeting on 2nd or 3rd meetings w/ people because that may indicate where I stand w/ them. I usually do the shake-up/half-hug combo w/ my male friends, hug my female friends, dap it up or give standard handshakes w/ acquaintances so when people give hesitant handshakes or light hugs, I feel like they're not comfortable around me. Even if you don't know me or barely know me & give me a robust physical greeting, I'm definitely buying you drinks tonight.

By 'virgo-leo', do you mean Virgo with Leo rising?

I'm a Virgo with Leo rising and I feel really uncomfortable with physical contact with anyone except my significant other. With her, conversely, I love lots of physical affection.

I really just started to get into this astrology thing, so I'm not to sure. I knew that I was a virgo and then discovered the cusp of exposure. It described me with an uncanny detail. I'm still learning 08/28 4:30am. I like dxp so far.

I feel like I'm the only virgo here who loves to touch, ie hugging, a light touch, ect.

I feel the people in the US are too confined and worried about their own space, actually. Places in Europe, it's more accepted.

I agree with you. I lived in other cultures and people are more open to hugging and kissing and all that stuff. I guess they're talking about funky people in that case I agree.
