[No, this is not a sequel to my Make Me Hard! thread.]
I've written before that Virgo Men are hard to catch, but even harder to get rid of once committed.
In the Real World, I know of Virgo Men married to:
Aries Women - two couples.
Leo Women - my VirDad and Mom.
Libra Women - my first Wife.
None of these are "optimum" partners for Virgo, and yet these couples had staying power. Which leads me to believe that Virgo Men are neither natural bachelors nor commitment phobics. If the right woman comes along, we can make a go of it - even when astrology is against us.
SS: I don't believe a woman should feel compelled to catch a man. In my book, it should be the other way around.
Ah, a True Scorpio!
I agree... but you should know, with Virgo Men, we're as reluctant to risk our hearts as you are. We gotta have some sort of encouragement to take on one of you Scorpio Gals...
My logical grandpa Virgo, married a religious Gemini.
I don't know how or why the man did it. I find her incredibly annoying most of the time. Domineering, childish and demanding. A tyrant when ready and a playful child when she feels to be.
She always shuts him up and takes control of everything. I swear the man has given up as a Virgo, but what do I know.
They loved each other and had 5 boys and 3 girls. There would have been more if nature permitted.
Bella: I felt something so comfortable and inviting, but the virgo never made it clear...
He was afraid to...
It took Big Balls on my part to ever approach my Bullette. But, I WANTED HER. And, I was young, and impetuous - and horny!
I always gave up and moved on.
And so it goes...
I might at least not be quite as coy.
Good. Y'all are not the easiest target for Virgo - definitely not a Bull's Eye! But, if you lead us in, we'll take the reins from you once we know for sure...
Never forget: Virgo takes you seriously. If that's what you want, that's what we got.
the cappy tendency to wanting to control and dominate are still there
No doubt. That's what chaps my hide about Cappies. All I want to do is get the fuckin' job done, and all they want to do is get credit for me getting the job done...
Maybe it is because of my age and the unevolved or immature people that surround me. But I only know of 1 Cancer gal, Virgo guy relationship.
Otherwise it's strictly Virgo-Scorpio.
I think I have run the gamut of a typical Virgo man, dated Libra, Aries, Scorpio X2, Pisces and Sagittarius. Was craving for a Earth sign prior to the Sag.
Cajun: I only know of 1 Cancer gal, Virgo guy relationship.
Same here, and yet, it's supposed to be one of our best pairings.
Of the Virgos I know in RL, 2 are married to Aries, and that's not supposed to work. My Dad's married to a Taurus now, and that is a very comfortable match for both of them - especially in their twilight years.
Bella: I think we both are to fearful of the what ifs sometimes.
Probably. Taurus wants certainty, and Virgo doubts himself. In hindsight, I think our racial differences actually helped us get past that T/V blockage - we expected issues from the start.
Virgo man married to Aries woman, happens a lot it seems. I think this is the archetype of the old wedded couple we often see. Always bickering over minor things yet so terribly in love ๐
I've seen more Virguy Sag-girl couples than I could shake a stick at.
Also, met a few Virguy Aries or Leo combination. I think the Virguy enjoys the impetuosity of his Fire Sign partner, and feels happy to be the responsible, sensible one.
Tons of Virguy Scorpchick couples. A lot of Virgo/Aqua combos -- must be the cool intellect thing.
Lots of Virguy Pisces or Taurus hubby and wife teams.
Let's face it -- Virgo IS a mutable sign, and mutables make the best marriage partners cause they ADAPT (I've always said that my Saggie daughter could marry ANYONE she's so damn good-natured, whereas my Aqua daughter is a pain in the ass, rebellious little shit -- and she's only five!)
My SAG Military Buddy is married to a Virgo Woman. They've been together about ten years. She lives in another state, so I haven't seen them together much... But, when I have witnessed their dynamics, I've been impressed by how OPEN they are with each other. She has a wry sense of humor, and he's never serious - they are FUN to have at a party! They're independent, and yet they support each other 100% . Looks like a great match to me - no matter what the astrologers say...
I can definitely relate to the 100% independent, yet support each other. We became extremely creeped out by how similar our tendencies are. We were literally "me too" all the way through learning about each other. A Sag might exaggerate this point, but I'm telling the raw facts here.
