How many of you Virgs have Saggy friends?? Does any of the following ring true for you...

Virgo and Sagittarius have unique approaches to life; Virgo is more practical and less distracted, while Sagittarius is the energetic explorer. It can be hard for Sagittarius to go along with the pragmatic realism of Virgo. Virgo may have a hard time accepting the Sagittarian energy. Virgo can offer Sagittarius a secure base and keep them on track with their dreams and ambitions. Sagittarius can add variety and new excitement to Virgo's day.

Virgo is ruled by Mercury and Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter. Mercury is about communication, and from Virgo's perspective, analyzing. Jupiter is philosophy, higher learning and travel. These two are about interpersonal communication and can sustain one another. Virgo and Sagittarius can amuse each other by discussing a film or a book in great depth, Virgo focusing on the particulars and Sagittarius commenting on the overall picture.

Virgo is an Earth Sign and Sagittarius is a Fire Sign. Sagittarius wants freedom, while Virgo needs financial strength and domestic stability. Sagittarius is motivated by pure feeling, while Virgo is more of a thinker. As long as they reassure each other that their love for one another is solid and real, their discords can usually be resolved.

Virgo and Sagittarius are both Mutable Signs. They can be spread themselves out over many different tasks, if necessary. It's easy for these two to become interested in the things that the other does. Each has no trouble granting the other the freedom to enjoy things external to the relationship. They have a wonderful, complimentary style of interaction and have no trouble working together.

My very best friend since 1st Grade is a Cancer Guy, but the friendship I've developed with a SAG Guy at work over the past few years is just about as close...

"Kindly" post for Virgos+ Caps. I have not been able to pull that from sign mate properly.

How can you being a virgo forget about us (great) caps! You must have posted it first, before you post it for any other sign.

I do not want to spend my extremely hard earned money on astrology book if I can get it for free :-). The money I will save from not buying the book, will go to animal lover's fund - I promise!

Literally ALL Virgos I know (myself too, to a much lesser extent thank the Gods) are nervous worriers to the point of suffering psychosomatically. They take things far too personally and are obsessed with all the minute details noone else sees or cares about.

One of my work colleagues is exactly like that. I will ask her a simple question demanding no more than a 1-liner answer, and will get a 10-minute answer which is either irrelevant or starting from first principles and completely missing the point by the end...She is like the Encyclopaedia Britanica, only opened at the wrong (and long!) 🙂

Compare and contrast with Sags (many very good friends, plus the girl I am after currently): They are bored stiff and lose concentration on what the average Virgo is saying after about 2-3 minutes. This is good, as it forces the Virgo person to either:

a) Give up and throw a strop, accussing the poor Sag of irresponsibility; or

b) Learn the valuable life skill of saying in 10 words what they had hitherto been saying in 100...i.e. being concise and to the point! This newfound skill will be appreciated socially and professionaly, and is something I have yet to master.

The mature, evolved Virgo will adapt and take this as a challenge to better himself/herself. The lazy and immature one will of course give up.

This is why I believe that Virgos and Sags are so wonderfuly complementary!

I love their childish eyes and the way they are always looking for their keys, passport...mind 😉

I love the way that you can joke with them openly and without hang-ups, and you always know that they will not take it seriously in the end or keep it inside and explode with worry after 40 years...

As for Sags not taking on responsibility...that could not be further from the truth in my experience! They can take the whole world on their shoulders and will never refuse to help a friend or relative. The difference with others is that they do it hapily, with a big smile on the face and without advertising it to everyone. Unlike the majority of people, they will not come back to you after X years and ask for payback. They genuinely help because they want to, and do not use this for emotional manipulation. If anything, they should learn to say No sometimes because they can be TOO good!

My two 0.02 Euro 😉

By the way, I am sure I could have written all the above in 1/10 of the space hahaha.

Hi likeBrad, glad to 'see' you here 😉

You are doing nothing wrong...Virgos have pride (like most people) PLUS this one is a man, so add some male ego in the equation. Maybe he feels a bit insecure or helpless with his leg restricting him right now. You did it well, just say it once and then don't repeat it again (that you do this because you want it, etc.).

Same with me and that Sag girl. She came back from her short hols and I saw her briefly yesterday evening. In fact, I ambushed her as she was going to catch the train after work haha. She kept saying 'I am mad' for going out of my route to see her for a few minutes, and I told her 'I did it for me, I am selfish like that 😉' That's the point: do it because you feel like it, otherwise it's forced and not called friendship/love/whatever...it's called business, and like with any business transaction, it demands payback. NOT how it should be! Jame! (I think you are French).

She is such a sweetheart...she was telling me that she saw her dog (he is 13 years old, so 91 in human years! 1 dog year equates to roughly 7 human years). She was describing the experience...how he was sniffing her and was looking at her eyes, how she was almost convinced by the end that he recognised her...but not 100% sure. She almost cried telling me all this, she loves her dog and is generally a very emotional person. This is what I love about her...this childish and genuine regard for others and for their emotions. That she sees things from a child's perspective, with 'clean' eyes 🙂

Anyway, back to your post. regarding interrupting others, yes I have noticed that Sags probably do this more than any other star sign (am I allowed to shamelessly generalise like this? hehe). I have learned to deal with it, and in fact find it cute as again it's like speaking with a kid. They have incredible energy and cannot seem to stay focused for more than a few minutes. My approach is to let them speak and then strategically find a point (when they stop to catch a breath...they are humans, not fish haha) to re-enter the conversation. Not a deal-breaker for me, no way jose!

Peace,

F

HAHAHA VirgoC: I liked the way you made your point! It's all about attitude.
As for the Euro stuff, many times I have felt Britishers have better manners than Americans.U know what they say, Americans are arrogant and if you look at their English it's short sentences without any literature or better sentence pattern most of the times. Most of the times, they talk too much. You know from write ups, who wrote that. I am one of them. Part of the problem is Americans think they are the best in the world, so no need to learn from any one or they do not even bother much to look at other parts of world for the sake of learning or competing better.

If America continues to do so, in global world economy it won't be at the top for long.

Hi Capgirl,

I agree with you, Americans are generally regarded in Europe as 'slow' (no PC way to put this without offending people). I believe their current president does not help much, neither does their tendency to create new and funky words such as 'burglarize' 🙂

I try to keep an open mind of course, and appreciate clever and genuine people when and where I am lucky to find them. It is true however - in my experience anyway - that many Americans have this unjustified arrogance (why travel outside the USA...it's big enough, we do not need to...etc etc etc). I call this 'unjustified', as the USA has given to the world (culturally and historically) a mere 'drop in the ocean' so to speak, compared with European and Asian (India, China, Persia, etc). But hey, each to their own and delusion can also be entertaining 😉

The Brits are, I have found, a lot more evolved than the Americans...but still, they share this arrogance of the sort of 'I do not have to learn a new language/culture...let the natives learn English'. But again, that's OK. People like me (highly qualified and speaking 4 European languages) are free to come to the UK and succeed where the locals cannot. No sympathy, arrogance combined with stupidity costs money!

Peace, and apologies if I offended anyone (no animals were hurt in making this post)!

I am a proud Cretan by the way (from Crete, Greece) and not a Brit. I have many American and British friends, and appreciate them all for their differences 😉

I like Americans for their fantastic 'screw it, let's do it' attitude. I also like the Brits for their very evolved wit and intelligence with words, as well as their sense of fair play (yes, it still exists).

Sagi people are generally great people and fun to be with.

I had a good relationship some years ago with a lady from this tribe and it was never a dull moment, never boring? but as I grew older and naturally ?grumpier?, I found that the relationship is somehow tolling toward my feelings and my ever growing needs for the stability especially mental works.

Sagis are always on the run (at least the one I knew), while the Virgos need to sit down and analyse the data that has been discovered newly (thanks to Sagi's drive). That makes Virgos boring to Sagis and Sagis unstable to Virgos?

So it had to be ended, fortunately it was a peaceful ending without any drama from both sides.

Did you have fights with her? Or with other Sags?

I am a strange kind of Virgo (hate the predictable life style ) and perhaps that's why I always run into fire signs, yes, we've had our arguments and disagreements, but fights..?? Never!

The only thing important to me is my ?mental peace and stability? and as long as no one try to rape my private temple ?which I make sure to anyone entering into my life as a friend or lover in very early stage that she get the ?message? correctly? everything else will be a matter of negotiations.

As long as I remember I've never had any ?fighting arguments issues? with my both Fire sign ?ex. wife? and ?partner?.

You have no idea how cunning Virgos are in these matters, double it with ?Chinese RAT?, then you'll get some ?remote? picture of my kind.

Who need fights when you already know where it ends; leave it alone and time will prove everything.

Qbone, i'm a rat in chinese astrology too and i definitely don't seem to be a typical virgo!

I haven't met many sag's, I have one male sag friend and we always have a fun time together, but then again my chart has 4 sag placements in it so I think he brings the sag out in me, and there is a nice feeling of ease because I feel quite free when i'm around him. The main thing I don't like is that he is not well researched and would rather tell a fib and pretend that he knows something, when really he doesn't 😐

I like the fact that sag's seem to be able to understand me when i'm going on about my philosophical thoughts, and they seem to be fairly moralistic as well.
