Post what you do for a living, and whether it is satisfying work for you. If you dont like your occupation, say why?

I have been in retail sales my whole working career. I really like working with people, and getting to know them well enough in a short amount of time to be able to provide them with something they need.

I am an administrative aide and I share duties with four other admin aides and we work under two admin aides who work under one admin asst (which means the bottom four do too). Think hierarchy in steps where the bottom four are step I the next two are II and the one alone is a III.

I hate sharing duties with anyone because I need to own my talent and I don't like feeling like I am better than others on my level. I want my own level. I don't like competition because I don't like competitive attention. If I do a great job I want it to be because no one else could have done the job, not that someone else slacked.

My dream job would be to own my own business. It fluctuates between a night club and a non-profit organization geared towards helping struggling single parents.

tollbooth .. my Virgo is a truck driver and has been his whole adult life (he's now 51) .. for a long time, he drove for other companies, long distance for many years. Now, he owns his own rig and hauls overseas containers for the military going to Iraq. At one time, several years ago, he had bought a couple more trucks and had his own tiny fleet (3) .. but, one truck totalled on the highway .. which put us out-of-business = driver was drunk and DOT snatched our fleet permit.

Now .. we just have the one rig .. still hauling overseas frieght to military port.

Current: IT (Network Analyst) -- civil service, pays the bills. I enjoy troubleshooting systems, but having to deal with non-IT managers is a pain in the butt...

Previous: Air Force Officer (Pilot) -- best job I'll ever have! Really cool, really scary at times, but with lots of adrenaline rushes and war stories I can live on when I'm having to wear adult diapers and sip Endure through a straw...

I would look to the lord of the 10th house, and also where Mercury is and the planet making the closest aspect to it. Mercury is neutral and is very affected by any aspecting planet, but the closer the aspect is, the more influence they give to it, and consequently the area of life it turns the mind toward. I have Mercury conjunct the Ascendant on the daylight side of things. Saturn makes the closest aspect (in opposition), but the Sun is close by (combust). Gemini is on my 10th house cusp. Jupiter trine Saturn is my tightest aspect (exact) and consequently with all this... I love the law. I could also probably do well in writing in general -- publishing or editing perhaps. My occupations for almost 20 years involved handling money in various ways, which made good use of my hands (Gemini), but poor use of my mental skills.

for 26 years I was an IT professional. Large networks, firewalls, Email systems, backup/recovery, Antivirus. You name it I managed it, but after getting let go from a company I worked at for 13 years Im done with that field. Now Im a manager at a saltwater aquarium store.

Really?....for real, you're not tryin' to pull one over on me dy are ya?! YOU were an air force officer!!!!?? OMG!!! Whatzit like?!?! Bet you could shoot up all types of shit!!! Flying those planes like that....wow....Damn it all.....I wish I could do that, or at least I like the idea of it....far too restrictive to me...Don't like takin' orders as is....I've have a problem with people in authority....especially other guys.

VE .. you could do it too. You're still young enough to spend the next couple years going to college and then take some private flying lessons .. then several years from now apply at the Academy

A very good friend of mine just made entrance into the Army Rangers by conquering an enemy tank and driving into their encampment (they didn't realize it was hostile because it was their own tank) .. and he blew the fuck out of them.

Now while he's in Ranger school/training .. he's one of the elite securing at the Pentagon .. but once his 2-year tour and training is done .. he'll be well on his way, and he says he's not stopping there, the Green Berets is his ultimate goal ... so he can be an assassin.

And alls it took was to "think" strategically on how to overpower. If he (Cancer) can do it .. then you (Virgo) surely can.

The Past:
Producer and Designer - Video Games
I got into the business early and rose up pretty fast into Product Management and Game Design work for Video Games with one of the better publishers / developers during that time. Then after 8 years, I realized I wasn't happy anymore so literally dropped the "dream career" in a matter of 3 months.

The Present:
Back to school - Training to be a Firefighter / Paramedic
Pursing education and certification training for a Firefighter medic. We'll see how it goes 🙂

Though there is a part of me that is thinking about finding any method to start up a business of some sort. I've come to realize that I do better when I'm my own boss.

Roxi, It's not weapons I'm really interested in at all. This world is a steaming pile of shit and you know it....I'm not exactly in love with the idea of having to fight I really hate having to fight anyone, but if FORCED to do so, I will without hesitation or a second thought. I can understand why you feel that way....but I also figured you'd know that a person would be a bonafide idiot to assume that we live in a world free of violence and full of peacful solutions....I decided in my own life that I would NEVER be a victim again....I went from being an idealistic kid, to a young man who understands the heart of man...I have to have power roxi, to protect those I love, and not just PHYSICAL power....the power to push this world forward in a way that is befitting to everyone.

Roxi, in this world, do you think that anyone really has any sense of mercy if they have power at their finger tips? I'm not so foolish as to think anyone is going to pull punches for me.....I have to have the power necessary to live my life in the way that befits me. Take it or leave, it makes no difference to me. I'm the one living this life, and come hell or high water nobody and I mean NOBODY is EVER gonna take from me again....I won't allow it without a bitter fight.

People only know how to destroy each other roxi...it's the one thing they do to assert dominance over the other, and I hate it: I really fucking hate, but who'll protect me in this world roxi?! Who's got my best interest at heart? Nobody roxi, nobody so VE's gotta be a big boy and put up his dukes and fight the good fight.... so as to not get destroyed yourself, EVERYONE at some point in their life has to fight.

Life just ISN'T fair.....Hell, it dosen't matter what soil your from, a human being has a right to defend himself....this is about self-defense not ideals....I don't live on cloud nine and I'm FIRMLY aware of what lies in the pit of EVERY mans heart....and it's power: deny it all you want, and you deny YOURSELF the truth and that's your cross to bear not mine....people do so really sick things for it too....I really despise it, but what can I do?!

Be a victim, and hope that god will punish the ones who took from me? No....Roxi, I don't know if you've ever had to fight in your life....but when or if you do....it's you all alone....it's showtime, and only YOU can pull yourself out of the situation....I CANNOT LOSE: It's not an option for me, as I have no one pulling for me....nor do I want it anymore.
