CC,

With me and my VirDad, it's The Thought that counts, not how much $ $ $ $ $ you spent. We love to get hand-made stuff from family & friends, but if you're not crafty, go with something simple, practical, and meaningful to us...

Books are a great quick buy. Gadgets that help us organize and/or clean up are good, too. We're actually fairly easy to buy for compared to some others...

Well....thank you for the tips all : )

I ended up going with an iPod and a subscription to audible and an iTunes GC. My guy drives A LOT and he lways listening to books on CD. I also got the car adapter thingee. I figured...practical-but a little fun, no?

As far as crafty-I knit him a scarf in Sept. and got him a first ed. signed copy of a book he wanted. I love giving gifts...but I feel all of this pressure, for some reason-to give the 'right' thing. Totally pressure I put on myself, I know.

Anyway-thanks again : )
