Do you as a Virgo display emotion readily? Or does someone have to drag it out of you? What Gets you all misty eyed?

nothing really i was little i was a big baby now im all cried out lol.

things that get to me are deaths and people that go thru hardships and that are less fortunate than me.


after that i can give to shits about anything.

Some virgos will open up if you go throw their defenses, which many women find too much to handle, so they leave.

Other virgos will open up if you are independent, which they find you to be a person who will not judge their character and allow their nervous instabilities to calm, so they can open up correctly without showing flaws.

Last, there are some virgos who want partners who can keep up with them, and they\'ll open up.

Pretty much, virgos need to know what you are made out of emotionally before they can throw you their emotional underwear at you.

Emotional underwear, that's a good phrase.

Virgos aren\'t afraid of their emotions, we see it as something like underwear to cover ours ass with whenever we slip out on our diarrhea communications. ;D

I think its much more subtle still though. Women are too often looking for the hugs, kisses, and I loves yous sort of thing. But, Virgos are a rather reserved in this respect. It's been said and I think it is true, it is their behavior, not their words, one must pay closer attention to. I get a lot of playful attention, but he's not going to grab me and kiss me just because (like I do to him). Then again, maybe I'm reading such behavior wrong...

You'll see emotion and genuineness when I see it in YOU. If I don't, why should my psyche, time and attention be spent on you if yours isn't spent on me? So no. Not much emotion from many virgo men unless we're pissed. You want to see emotion, step out of the usual "I'm a woman and I'm already emotional" box. Seriously, many women make this mistake with ALL men. It's that somehow being YOU entails emotion when you seek his presence- be it a rendezvous or a date or some form of intimacy-. But does it really? No. It's going through motions. EMOTION is much deeper. If it's a bonding of psyches you want, it takes time, patience and real intimacy-little stuff done together. Like most men, remember that as you see him "open up" don't diminish how he shows you this. And don't dismiss it as "wrong" or "not the right way"...especially since it's positive, dig? The last thing any guy worth his salt wants is to begin to show a woman the best way he can how he feels and she diminishes or dismisses it. A positive display of affection and feelings and emotion is good. Let it grow.

I agree with you. I know he loves me even though he doesn't show it the traditional lovey dovey way. I take it more serious I think b/c he doesn't. I want for nothing, and I know he could place his efforts elsewhere. Whe he does show me the affection I need It feels so much more important.

On the other hand would you starve yourself so that the next time you ate food would taste that much better. He emotionally starves me. I shouldn't have to wait on rations. That's why I gave his ass his walking papers. I really have a love hate relationship with Virgo men.

No you don't have to be an emotional display of sorts, but so often I look at my mom and she seems ok, but then she'll call me and I can tell she's upset b/c she's complaining about everything and climbing on the cross " Well I so tired, but I just went ahead and did it.." I just think sometimes, geez climb down off the cross we need the firewood. If she feels tired I would rather hear her say that instead of not being able to tell what the heck is going on. My boyfriend/ex boyfriend is the same way...Sometimes I just look at him and wonder what's going on in that head. My drive is to "fix it" lol! If I don't know what's wrong I can't fix it! I'm always itching to fix, correct, console, repair....So nerve racking.

I can but it depends on the topic and who I am with.

In regards to anger, I'm a bit odd about it. Big stuff doesn't really piss me off. I find more often I get pissed about small stuff. In complete honesty, almost all of the fist fights I've ever been in (there have been A LOT) all revolved around stupid small things.

Another example would be the "Puppies being Thrown in the River" incident that I posted in the MISC forum. That one REALLY bent me out of shape. I was raging pretty hard about that one.

So, I'm looking for a new job... this morning I told him I worked on my resume' last night until midnight, after I told him what I was doing, described the positions I was applying for, how I was feeling about the whole situation and so on and so on, he told me he was my biggest supporter.
