Oh, a true but funny story here about fortune cookies. A friend of mine was a valet driver at the time, and when he opened a fortune cookie it actually said that he was in the driver's seat of life. hahaha

Hehehehehehe...that's cute. I can't remember the last time that I had one. I know that you can always ask for them when you buy your chinese food but I always forget.

I got a fortune cookie once that said "It is better to have beans in bacon in peace than cake and ale in fear."

Why of course! Does that sort of mean that it is better to be poor and happy than to be rich and unhappy....or something like that?

I think so, but beans and bacon are yummy

Can't remember the last time I had that combo but me thinks you might be right.

Good one! Sadly enough, many of us have to learn that the hard way.

Hey! I'm glad to know these basic thoughts can be something someone can relate. I'm testing my audience, so there are very simple thoughts, but still helpful ya know? I'm just tapping into things here...if I could post some of the of my own thoughts...I don't know if people could handle it or take it. Lol. Maybe you or some other Virgos could relate? It can get pretty deep...just saying. That's why I tend to hold myself back, until I find someone that I feel can deal with it...and even then I do it only to certain levels and in glympses because there is so much that go through my mind that is huge.

I think some of us, Virgos, need quotes that will help us to stop thinking. :p

Hahaha do tell! Are pisces into fantasyland? What's goes on in their heads? I never dated any, but had a crush on one when I was younger and kissed another last year. That's as far as my experiences with them, haven't gotten to know their minds well yet...do share! 🙂

Uuuggghhh...tell me about it. My mind runs constantly. I think that's why we tend to make fine writers and poets etc. Our minds run so deep and we can think of so many different types of things all at once that when we finally put it on paper, it's just oh so wonderful. Did you know that Mary Shelley Wollstonecraft was A Virgo? She was the author of the famed novel "Frankenstein". Just a little tidbit for ya.

Feel free to use us as your audience because if anyone can relate, it's us. Don't hold back. We'll understand.

HAHAHAHA! What the hell are you getting at? I'm bored. Let's chat about something random...

Anything in the news that you're particularly interested in these days? Did you hear about that college student that committed suicide because of what his roommate did to him - streaming a sexual tryst he had with another guy live on his webcam? How awful...

I know. I was so sad to hear that. I mean really...wtf was he thinking doing something like that to someone? They interviewed a friend of his who said that he was known as a really kind person and that it didn't matter if it was a girl he would have done the same thing. Like wtf? In other words, the friend was trying to say that he didn't discriminate against gays or against people who were bi-sexuals. There was no mention of there being any sort of bad blood or 'issues' between the two of them (not that if there was it would make the offender's act justifiable in the slightest) so it pisses me off even more to think that he would just do some shit like that for fun? I mean what the hell was his motivation? He needs to be punished. Him and the young lady he was in cahoots with. Damn.

I always wonder if people think about what they did later, and regret it...like DEEPLY regret it. Like the Manson murders--do those who carried them out truly regret it? Or the guy who shot John Lennon, MLK, etc...

It would literally eat me alive.

Personally, I think we all have different levels of conciusness for our actions. Sadly, some people go too far and have done it so many times (hurting others that is) that they become numb to their actions, thus, I think it is possible for some really bad people to not have regrets. There is such a thing as a very lost soul, in my opinion.

As far as the news I believe you ladies are referring to and I know it, without asking, just based upon your comments so hopefully I am correct...I think one main thing we are lacking in our society today is regulations and protocols for the use of technology and communication in our personal lives. Technology is growing fast and we yet have to have a defined set of standards to protect us all...just think about it.

I went to a meeting with professors and doctors last night (most of them in their 50s) and they were so obsessed with Tea parties and so blinded to the real causes and problems we are facing right now, that it was shocking and a bit disencouraging to me. I don't think people understand and see what's going on...sadly, this even reaches older people who should be wiser, but are actually scared to death about things that are only the surface and NOT the roots of the big problems. Meanwhile, the young ones are distracted...but not all of us. I believe many of us will have to become more and more active (as we have during recent times) to speak up for others and expose certain truths, since it seems previous generations (not all of the people of course) are loosing a sense of real causes and problems at times.

I will stop there for now, just thought I would open up a bit.

That was deep, Amoureux.

I do believe there are lost souls though...I always look people in the eyes when they smile, and that'll either be my red or green light. I know so many people who don't smile with their eyes, and it's truly terrifying...it's almost like there's a person trapped inside of this empty shell of a body screaming "HELP ME! HELP!" but their pleas can't be heard.

And I agree with VVxxx, Amoureux--don't be afraid to open up, your input is wonderful 🙂
