Had another date last night, this time with a Gemini. Wow, could we talk! The conversation was just non-stop and we got on really well, loads of eye-contact, laughing, smiling, enthusiasm. Normally when I go on a date there comes a point at the end of the evening where I have to uncomfortably ask if I can see them again, but not with GemGirl! She was so enthusiastic about the places of interest that I said exist near where I live that we??d arranged our second date by half-way through the first one, because she was so keen to visit some of these places! She displayed a huge hunger for knowledge and, through her questioning of me, caused me to realise things about myself that I never have before. I almost feel like I know myself better for having met her! She's very pretty, very bright and cheerful and, has left me feeling hungry for more of the —soul food?? that her conversation has provided!!

Can anyone else here comment on the whole Virgo + Gemini combination?

Thanks. Looks like a need to strike a careful balance. I don't want to come on too strong and scare her off, but I don't want her to lose interest because I play it too cool and make her think I don't care as a result. What would you say is best? Consistent, predictable behavior on my part, thus indicating solidity and reliability, or something more random and surprise-oriented, thus prompting a sense of freedom and excitement?

Well we can both talk! We both ended up with dry mouths and sore throats from all of the talking we did. I??ve never met anyone who prompts quite so much enthusiasm in me! The whole changing topic thing can be annoying, though so far GemGirl hasn't don't this. The Leo I was with for many years had a habit of changing topic mid sentence! Therefore, I am used to this and can handle it. In fact, it got to a point with the Leo where I??d lose the plot of the conversation if the topic didn't suddenly change without warning!

No, not a player. I came out of a long-term relationship with a Leo last March, dated a Taurus lady on and off for six months, had a couple of dates in among during a phase when we had a split which I thought was permanent, but turned out to be temporary??_ really wanted to make it work with the Taurus, but couldn't, and split up with her at the start of December after many weeks of her messing me around. Since then I??ve done some reflecting and started dating again??_ the VirGirl who was an unmitigated disaster, and the GemGirl who I??ve got off to the best possible start with!

Fair enough...

What about your witty side though?
Do you poke fun at others or is your comedy more friendly?

I can be witty, though my wit tends to take the form of funny general observations in conversation rather than having a dig at people personally. I am very sarcastic, but as my Taurus ex said she hated sarcasm so much I checked with GemGirl who says she thinks sarcasm is very funny. I will be careful with her though. My mother, who is also a Gem, has warned me that they can appear very cheerful and friendly on the surface, possibly inviting jest, but are very sensitive underneath. Not entirely unlike myself then. I'm not the stereotypical "critical" Virgo - I hate hurting people's feelings - so we should be just fine in that respect.

No need to apologise, it happens to all of us 🙂

Well all these things just put you in a better position. Very sensitive is an understatement.

All their invitations and aloofness can quickly turn to anger and tongue lashings if you're not careful.

Well you see our minds are constantly flipping like the speed of light so this is why we do this. There are not a lot of people that can keep up with our gibbering away; however you Virgos can and do. You all can quote the crap we just said better than we can.

Yup!

Half the time we are just sort of thinking out loud to some degree. Virgos put more thought into what they say, sometimes Geminis do but on a causal basis we put only a couple seconds into what we say and therefore can appear scatterbrained.

Haha, yeah.
Lots of thinking out loud, often to other people's demise lol

We are really not though. I found this funny because when I dated the Virgo guy neither of us would tell the other we loved each other for a long time, I think it became a sort of game with us. You know a one up on ya kind of thing. After about 8 months and we were living together still no I love you from either of us. Then one day I was yapping away and I let it slip. I just changed the subject real fast and started talking about a bunch of other stuff and then he said what did you just say. So I started repeating everything but the I love you. Of course he would have none of that and he is smiling with the biggest smile ever be

Heeeheeheee, you can't get much past a Virgo 😉

I responded that I was none to happy about loving him and that it sucked and I was pissed off at myself. Then he waited a whole day to tell me back. Anyway we really didn't need to say it we already knew.

Whatever you do, don't pamper to her. And do not flirt with her unless it's mental. Flirt with her about her looks and you're done, even if you don't find out until next month :-)

Really?
Gemini women don't like to talk about their looks? It's that simple?

Posted by Ccdarling
At least the Gemini's tantrums don't last that long. Of course they really don't need to, we strike and the victim falls gasping for words which no other sign can out beat us Geminis at. lol

The only reason it is devastating, is because you suckered everyone into believing only the "good twin" existed.

Virgos can take it and dish it back, we break you down on every level.

I have clearly stated to you that there is a bad twin that will be unleashed if screwed with. No suckering going on here.

OHHHHHH I will let you keep thinking that is true.

I know and live with Geminis where the "evil twin" is the dominant one, they don't have to be screwed with.

I've never met a Gem that could top a Virgo tongue lashing either.

Ha ha, my stars for today, on theastrologyroom.com say...

"Time, spent with faces from your past, can help you to fill in many missing blanks. You are finally ready to move on and focus on the future. Geminis play a key role in this."

How strange!

Too weird...

Cajun,
Gemini women don't flirt with men we're genuinely interested in and we don't want a man we're genuinely interested in - and just getting to know - to flirt with us at a physical level.

That sounds messed up.

Why? Because we want a man to fall for our mind first, then everything else. Gem females get a bad rap for being atrocious flirts and fickle but that's simply not true. If we're flirting with you in that way, we're simply not interested.

Would'nt that mean you all send mixed signals? If not, downright the WRONG signal?

Men in relationships with Gems always complain about how their partners flirt with everyone while failing to realize that a flirting Gem female is not an interested one. Once we're in an established relationship and we're flirting, that's different.

Again, that sounds really messed up.

When we're getting to know each other and dating, we don't flirt in the way that we do with people we've got no interest in. It's inverted, I know, but that's just how we are. Gem females go for brain over looks because we bore easily and we want a guy who values our brain over our looks, too. If you fall for a Gem - stranger things have happened! 😉 - keep this in mind :-)

No wonder Virgos have problems with "Gemini Mind" games.
We know what we want and we're straightforward about it, Geminis need to come with a manual it seems.

I can actually relate to that sentiment. For example,a my downstairs neighbor kept hitting on me and even though he's good looking i was COMPLETELY turned off by it. On the other hand guys that I usually end up liking are guys that I can have really good engaging conversations with. Maybe it's because I was born on the cancer, gemini cusp not sure...
