Yes, totally, LV. Wga was extremely gracious and complimentary toward me and I knew that I had a "go-to guy" if I ever had a problem. I wish him the best. He deserves it.

And yes, the bashing does get tired. But I don't know if that's why he left. He was far too wise for that. It might just be that he entered a new phase of his life.

Since Ive been back, well i helped with calming down the Vancouver riots. I got Bernie Maddoff sentenced.
I helped the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat. I sent the annoying Bachelorette to Thailand.
I sent Congressman Weiner back the pic of his...you know, Weiner, that he had sent me and got him called out.
Ive been giving Sarah Palin U.S. History lessons. I got the guy from Ghost Adventures to get off the steroids.
I fixed the coffee machine on the International Space Station (those guys kept falling asleep at the wheel).
And I finally got someone to clean the toilets over at Area 51.

That about covers it. I think.

Yeah a bit more seriously with the screenwriting and have seriously considered going to Film School in NYC.
The poetry hasnt been what it could since I havent had a place to post it. lol.

Although I did save the last thing I wrote, never finished it like I intended cause it was going to be more of a story than a poem but I couldnt stop the words from trying to rhyme, LOL.... Here it is:



I was there to witness the love he felt for her. For I alone, was the Brown to his Keats.
From day one, the seed was planted into his heart until the over-growth entangled him completely.
Like a fly ensnared in a spider??s web, so became his heart, the more he moved away from what he felt, the more his heart entangled itself in thoughts of her.
I watched his love swell inside him day in and day out. I watched as his hopes to gain her as his friend became more fertile by the day.
I was there the first time she acknowledged him and how glorious he felt that she had not rejected him but in fact had embraced this new stranger who wanted to bathe in her smile and bravely swim in her seas of despair.
I witnessed her make promises to him and him make promises to her. I heard as their friendship grew into much more than they both imagined so.
I stood over his shoulder the first time she declared her special feeling for him. The beam of light from her words made the darkness inside him flee. Oh how his heart filled with so much happiness, fueling a perpetual smile that not even he had become aware of but his acquaintances not only saw it, but felt it inside themselves, as did I whenever he came around.
Day after day, I watched over him. Never altering his path nor his emotions. I allowed him to feel, to hear, and inhale everything about her. And this he did.
With one foot in reality and one in pure fantasy he marched forward, with the countenance of a King in-waiting, patiently and confidently his stride became, knowing what lay in wait was far more richer and beautiful than any throne God nor man had ever made??_

Lol, no that wasnt cheesy at all 🙂. I like that idea, it's very fresh.. Im just right now finishing up on Rainer Maria Rilke's Letters To a Young Poet.. I could go back to this book a million times over and still feel as if the message he delivers is new. The way he speaks and encourages really rings a bell for me. His philosophy is wonderful, always direct and very honest, I've never read anything like it. I will def check the Keats out as soon as I can 🙂. Thanks for the recommendation W 😄.

Thank you for letting me know about Rainer Maria Rilkes, he sounds fascinating. Especially his work from 1902-1910.
Love how these poets and writers travel the world to be inspired. I wish I could do that. Id tell my bosses today...F U....im going to Paris to write a novel and then Im of to Monaco to write a few poems.

Wg....your writing is not cheesy. It's courageous. I see the emotion and mirror to society in what you've shared in this thread. Sometimes we are our own worst critic...but at times, we should look back and see that sometimes there's nothing to critique really. It IS that good.

I want to share why the big gas giants (Saturn and Jupiter) have auroras like we do on earth sounds like no big deal but we have an iron core that produces our magnetic field that allows us to witness the auroras. The gas giants do not...so what is creating their magnetic fields if they are gas planets —

Thx@wg. And....my pops was one of those physics students who questioned all theories and doesn't find their calculations hard. I stand by him(by my reason and not the math) that since "gas giants" are spherical like all "true planets" then they have auroras because of a)their composition-radioactive chemistry taking place just like here or at least a charging of particles during bombardment of particles and b) maybe they DO have a surface but the calculations are off due to their immense size....giants they are....but are they not also planets? SOMETHING other than their core HAS to be at work.

Yes. But that would probably cause the auroras to appear all over the planet's surface and not just at the north and south poles.

Here is a hint...
It has to do with what happens to the Hydrogen molecule when the force (pressure) applied to them exceeds what happens here on Earth oh by about a few million times. Something extraordinary happens to hydrogen under that pressure and we know how dense Jupiter is, so imagine the force exerted at the center of the planet. Its truly cool shit, if you are into that kind of stuff.
But definately ask your Dad his feelings on this newly accepted theory.
Thats why I love the sciences so much....the debates.

Interesting@wg. Hmm....I don't think he's far off with his idea...considering how you've mention having to multiply the hydrogen a billion times or more- big planet vs little planet.

Most of what he's thinking also centers on traveling there with less fuel...ie..getting rid of rockets to get out of orbit. He even wrote it and drew it but if I shared it...even the layman's terms, his ex military m.o.s. would kick in and id be dead. Btw...if Dy's reading...my pops is a gemini who was in artillery. He's a "tinkerer"....lol

No not multiplying the Hydrogen but squeezing the living piss out of it changing its gaseous state into another form, it was just recently done for the first time on earth using powerful lasers. In the past we didnt have the technology or equipment to duplicate the massive pressures found in Jupiter's atmosphere.
