why do we have to be so closed and cold? why can't we just express ouselves. this is some messed up crap that we have to beat ourselves up inside because of a fear of not being perfect.

Im not a virgo but nobody is perfect,some would like to think they are but thier not.Concentrate on finding your good qualities and you will feel a whole lot better.People are only perfect when they are themselves flaws and all.

Mercurial I really feel your post deeply because I'm Virgo Rising. The not opening up part is even more of a factor for me, around people I'm unsure of, because that plus my Scorpio-Sun just refuses to give way!

You are not the only person and it's not even astrology related. All I can say to you is to be strifeing person.

Oeh,virgos and virgo risers,guess maybe the "astrologers" were right about something since I have sag rising but again it still doesn't mean anything,hmm or maybe just a common misconception or misunderstanding,nothing to be called "fate" about.

Perfect-is an impossible idea.You can only succeed at something that IS possible in reality;careers,finaces,homes,cars,schooling,etc.Everything in nature was an imperfection or deformity originally=thats called evolution and adaptablity,the chicken and the egg question really isn't an impossible question to answer when you think about that fact.It's not going to happen unless you let it be perfect as is and learn to say fcuk it and go with the flow sometimes and not care about it.

If you want a "astrology" reason for it virgos need to learn to live and let other people live rather than "just" analysing it and calling it "life".It's in your head,you are causing your problems and no you don't have to beat yourself up if you change your mindset.You can only control what you "really" have power over which perfection isn't it,you can get the perfect career,home,cars,etc and still not be happy unless you like yourself enough to allow yourself to be happy and content.Yes,I don't like and don't put to much faith into astrology that much and disconcern it most of the time if your wondering by all the quotation marks around the word.When you get down to it by my being a scorpio all it means is I was born in november and nothing more.

I disagree with Tiamat's point. People are picky and detailed when it comes to real life issues. They may be careless when it's leisure, fun time, but when things come to real problems, people twist 180 degrees. I think she is approaching at everything with same serious and detailed behaviours because not just this is rule to survive but also best method of learning the truth. I am analysing people too and I also find very difficult to express myself from time to time. After all this is a matter of preference. However my personal beleif is that know it all is the best way to go.

Our human nature is not perfect to deal with every problem. We have to learn other "unnatural" things in order to survive. Some people find this masochism good and even benefit from it.

Hey disagreeing on point of view is ok.

He's problem is not what wrong he do or what's correct he do. He just says that he do not know how to express himself. It's not about the view at life.

It's about the immature and not taking life seriously comment on the cancer board regarding this topic and a few others,you don't know me to make that judgement,telling people to lighten up once in a while doesn't mean any of those things,just keep the catty comments to yourself next time.

Let me explain to you what I understand from this:

You want to concentrate on qualities that are important for YOU. Not what others except you to be. People are perfect only then when their true self can itself. It doesn't matter what other problems in the world are, only your problems are important for you, and you should focus only on them-. Right? If so then you are not taking life more seriously than it is important for you. This is what I said in Cancer board. If you don't mind other things in life then focus on your own qualities and you will never make a mistake towards yourself. You can't betray to yourself. Thus you will always speak up about what important for you only. You will never feel sorry for things that is not in your control.

Everyone has to be a critic to some degree, and everyone can find the faults, but only the best of the critics will Fill The Faults like Heroes!

I mean, if you're good at transforming and transcending..(you learn quickly and always come up with new ways and more powerful and effective ways to do simple and normal things) -- then why on Earth would you ever want there to be a way to reach Perfection? the approach seemed as if it was a insult.the topic was cancer men;late to mature? and if you are a person who doesn't take life seriously than take tiamat's notice.i take life seriously,too seriously sometimes obviously but do see when it's time not to dwell on the negative things and lighten up to see things positively.its a mix of both,some people are crazy and are so so extreme all the time is all.life can be enjoyable too if you let it but stupidity fun to the extreme is just as bad.thats why i usually say an average joe is the perfect guy,i don't like extremes without thinking about it and finding it isn't so great or bad.

I personally partially disagree with thas part. The thing that we don't know doesn't mean bad and things that we do know, doesn't always right. So I do not place my judgement solely on my own nature (which also includes the information we do gathered so far) because my nature is NOT always the right problem solver. It may lack the information to make the right decition. I do not jump on conclusions if I'm not sure. My nature tells to jump because this is rightful to my nature but my sence of perfection says stop because there could be more than I know. What I tried to tell the guy who opened this topic is to speak up his ideas about something and be sure about they are worth something. They will become powerful when their ideas are justified. Also they will be more brave to talk about them in the future because they will feel that their ideas are already justified once. They will fight for it. Haffo, what you said are quite close to Tia's in that both of you talk about subconscious level of human mind. But yours is too specific 'cause you base your idea from BDSM perspective. Natural or (what seem) unnatural, both are within us. We need to accept it after all. Some who experiment BDSM can't be happy with themselves still. Why? Seeking unnatural things is like a journey to be perfect. Experiment until we've found that we have to be back to basic. That's why I agree with Tia that self-reliance is more important in order to survive and live happily in this world.
