Sign Bashing

I just wanted to say that I have been to most of the message boards on Astrology. It is unbelieveable that people can be so narrow minded concerning the different astrological signs. I notice there is a lot of Virgo bashing, Pisces bashing, Gemini bashings, etc. Why is that? It's so strange to me that a couple of bad apples from a sign mean that all people of that sign are like that. I just don't get it. I have known Virgos, good and bad, do I think they are ALL bad people? No I don't. Not only is Astrology a good tool in some respects, you have other things to indicate things about a person. Life style , genetics, environment, life experiences. Case in point - Charlie Manson is a Scorpio - are ALL Scorpios like him? I don't think so. Andrew Cunanan was a Virgo, are all Virgos murderous gay men? I don't think so. It seems that some people take the worst trait of a person and then just figure that all of them are the same. A few bad experiences does not make a certain sign that way. I find that most people are what they have seen in their homes - how their parents treated them, or what happened to them in certain situations, it's not because of certain sign. Do ALL Geminis cheat, probably not. It's just an amazing thing to me.

If there is anyone out there that agrees please let me know. If I'm wrong -let me know that too.

The reason is that some people DO LIKE to do this. It gives them pleasure. If I were you, I wouldn't take them seriously.

Well, gosh. I can think of a hundred other ways to get pleasure. Going shopping, going to Paris, laying out at the beach, sex, chocolate... the list is endless. :-)

Good news I am back to do some bashing. who should I bash first and may I say thank you haffo for the people suck comment. If my Virgo friend did not suck I would not go out with her.

This is true. Some people even get a lot of money for playing a victim; and some people love the crutches they continually fall back on.

I think sometimes also, we take the easy way out as you said and we love to shift the blame on someone or something else. Sometimes a person should look at themselves. Always playing the victim is not a pretty picture at all. We have have common traits of some sort, some good, some bad. But to just bash someone because of their actions - well I can't get into that. It does carry over into all areas of ones life. Be they black, white, native American or whatever. To say ALL are a certain way is too absolute and too biased for my taste.
