Why Are We Described As Being Predictable— WTF?!

I keep reading that Virgos are "predictable" and love "routine". BS! The virgos I know, myself included, are crazy, witty, and spontaneous. I absolutely hate too much routine, because I'm the restless type and I tend to get bored very easily. And if we are so "predictable", why is it that our boards are always filled with people who have a hard time figuring us out? Examples, "Help! My Virgo blows hot and cold", "Why does my Virgo (blank)?, and my all time favorite, "My Virgo disappeared on me! Will he/she come back?" - Betch, you tell me! Check their "routine". lol. Plus, how is a person who disappears at the drop of a hat predictable? I'm baffled. I could just be me.

for me, i do follow a routine, not out of choice, but because that is what i am supposed to do. like work, eat, sleep. i wont give up things on an impulse, like i wont move places, change jobs constantly. in that sense i follow routine, which i think everyone does. it cannot be said to be a virgo thing. every person follows a certain routine, until it changes to some other routine?

but when it comes to virgo characteristics, i think virgos are mysterious. people can have a hard time knowing what's going on in their minds. they are social, yet private. they know everything about everyone, but no one knows everything about them. they are helpful, like helping others, but they hate asking for help. they come across as sober because of their service oriented nature, but they are very tough. tell me what you want, but dont tell me what i want. they can be stubborn when it comes to things they want and not give in to anyone. they will be courteous, polite, kind, but not naive. maybe we come across as predictable, because we do our stuff sincerely. we don't let mood swings affect our routine, so it might look like ohh i know where he/she will be, what he/she will be doing at this time. i know if i call, they will answer, things like that. what others dont see in the inner turmoil, the hundred and one things processing in our heads at any given time. outwardly i am the same as yesterday, but inward i am different every day. in short my mood swings are for my mind and heart alone. you wont know how i am feeling

Do Virgo's like to travel? It seems from what I have noticed you talk about it, but never accomplish it, is it because your cheap?

Curious, cause I love to travel and learn new cultures and do things of that nature...

oh no, i would never think twice about spending on something i like. i like visiting new places too. but i mostly like places that have a city like feel. crowds, shops, tall buildings, beaches also i love. i am not at all a club going/party person, but i like big cities.

I love and do travel. Not cheap either. I don't know where people get this notion that we are cheap. Practical, yes. But cheap, no. I do, however, spend recklessly from time to time. Depends on how good of a time I'm having.

I've tend to noticed a trend in hot and cold and disappearing act threads on all the forums to be honest. e.g. with Libras "omg must be their whorish and flakey nature!", in pisces "omg must be their self defense and the need for emotional clarity" and then in aquas "omg it's because they are so detached and aloof!".

That being said though all of the virgos I've met are random, sporadic and funny with their special brand of caring. I'd have to agree with consistency but routine is something I think we all suffer from but being routine doesn't make you guys boring at all. Not even in the slightest.

I think earth signs overall are seen that way. Virgo would be the least predictable of the three for me. Mutable signs change a lot and are always evolving. Having said that, I'd say that Virgo is probably the least mutable of all the mutable signs. Kind of like how Aquarius would be the least fixed of the fixed.. I've known a lot of Virgoans in my day. Some, absolutely awesome people, and others, well.. we didn't connect. That all depends on the rest of their chart as well.. Third decante Virgoans and I seem to get along the best.

No wonder I like you so much. haha. Most of my best and most loyal friends are libras. Awesome peeps and very good-looking. For some reason, I've never met an ugly one. Pretty bastards...lol. Venus has been very kind. Third decan Virgo FTW! Kidding, we all rock.

Lmao!! You nailed it! I don't know ANY Virgos who are routine. Well, I lied. My aunt is pretty routine but she's 67...but predictable? Hell no. "help, my Virgo blows hot & cold", that's funny. 😄

virgos aren't predictable at least im not i know im hot and cold and i just cant help that virgos mind is always working so i see no way of a virgo being predictable cause our mind is always on the go finding new interests and conclusions one day i can be the life of the party then the next i can be the most blank boring person ever it just depends on how im feeling and where my mind is at i think a less evolved more timid virgo are the predictable ones cause there scared of taking risks and only stick to what they know

Emotionally secretive doesn't make you physically unpredictable. You guys are a creature of routine and that's what people mean when they call you predictable. I can comfortably predict the behaviour most virgos pretty accurately. I am very good at estimating when you won't do something...it usually commences with non-committal lurking 😉.

Why do you care? If you know you are not predictable then why would you care what others think? "Shakes head"

Haha. I really don't care. Just trying to discern the difference between being predictable (Behaving or occurring in a way that is expected) and being understood. If a person behaves in a way you expect them to, why are some folks confused with the outcomes? Plus, why do you care if I care anyway? haha

Plus, we're thinkers. We like to make sense of it all. How Virgo of me. 🙂

If you make the other person feel comfortable, then you're reliable. If you make them feel overly comfortable, then you're predictable.

what we talk is not thin air, it is solid ground!

i hate routine. I'd do things spontaneously without planning ahead now. I want adventure in life.

If predictability describes a Virgo then maybe I'm not a Virgo at all. I was born in a different state then grew up in a different state again then I choose to study in a different state again and now I'm working in a different state again. I love traveling a lot. I make impulsive travels as well and my family been asking me where will I be in the next 6 months. Always expect the unexpected when you're dealing with me coz I change my mind often.
One thing I think is predictable with me is being awesome at work 😉
