You guys are awesome but frustrating

Any Virgo I have ever met has been fairly smart, but when they are wrong, it is hard to explain to them the truth. I've noticed this from my experiences with the few and it is so darn frustrating. A Virgo friend of mine was talking about her schooling (the same program I had already went through and I knew well enough about) and some of her facts were wrong. I tried pointing that out and laid the information out on the table for her to clearly see. Even with everything right in front of her eyes she was like, "No. I'm pretty sure I'm right. I looked into it a while back." At that point I gave up. Try to help someone out with what you know and have been through, then they try saying you don't know what your talking about! Frustrating.

I know exactly what you mean, Lammal ... Virgo's are insufferable when it comes to this.

Once they have a solid thought ... they are completely unmovable/unchangable .. even with proof in their face.


How idiotic is that.

Think of it as a highly religious person who was born and raised in the faith, trying to be discouraged from their beliefs by an atheist.
Virgos take great pride in their knowledge and education, so for you to tell her what she may or may not have learned is wrong, is complete sacrilege and will be taken as an attack on her intelligence, character and personal convictions.

i think some virgos are open to admit if they are wrong, it depends on how expose to other opposite thoughts they have been exposed to.

your friend seems to be a bit stubborn in the outside, but i can almost guarantee you that she gets home she will research again and think about what you told her.

P-Angel -- I've noticed it with many Virgos. Once they have a thought or idea they stick to it and no one can change their mind otherwise. Sometimes it can be an admirable trait, but it is frustrating when it has to do with something such as getting a simple task done. It's almost like they would prefer to do it the hard way rather than admit to being wrong.

Canjunspirit -- I have never really thought of it that way before. I can understand someone viewing it as an attack if you are challenging a strong belief such as their religion. On the other hand, sometimes people have to accept that there are times where they will be wrong. I've never considered that Virgo's may take it really personal if you try to show them how to assemble something or give them proper directions to a destination. Also, I've never really watched someone try and debate with them... they have this dominating "don't mess with me" air about them. lol

Yes, there are times when we have to come to accept we may be wrong.
However, Virgos have excellent memory, if you challenge something they CLEARLY learned in school, you are looking for a fight.
We do take it personal, because if you ARE right, then we question ourselves, our education, our worth. We begin to wonder if we have been mislead, or deceived.

As ABee pointed out, she would have gone home and researched the answers you provided.

Yes, we have the "don't mess with me" attitude, the ladies more so than the men but we are nice people.
It all comes down to how you go about "correcting us".

If you are obtuse, aggressive or condescending, you will be strongly rebuked.
On the other hand, if you are understanding, calm and open to listen to what he have to say we are more willing to accept defeat.

We don't take losses/being conquered very well and will not submit to anyone rude.

Aquarians, Geminis, Aries, Libras, Pisces and Sagittarius more than the other signs are difficult for us to submit to given their "debating style ".

Hell... Virgos get a rep for being "right" or "sensible" so much that everyone jumps at the chance to "be right for once" lol

my libra and leo buddies purposely get into bouts with me just for entertainment. they 2v1 me and i still argue my way to the top lol
