Now let's go to the romantic side of things šŸ˜†

I read Taurus people are known to be great lovers generally (obviously everything depends on everything in your chart, especially Venus sign when it comes to romance).

Preferably the positive experiences, please šŸ™‚

cause PSA, people who have trauma by certain sun signs shouldn't blanket statement and hate on one whole Sun sign when we have to consider everything in someone's chart.

I have both sun and venus and hate classic romantic rituals

Fair. Such as? Personally I am not a huge fan of tacky, thoughtless and overly sappy cheesy romantic generic stuff such as a generic teddy bear, thoughtless random chocolates, handing me your coat (plus I'm always prepared before I go out as I check the weather etc. if anything, I'd probably be the one handing people things šŸ˜†) and clearly showing you're trying to win me over through showing only your physical strength bravado (this one really turns me off lol) etc.

Tbh it's just anything without any personal thought put into it I think.. When you show someone that you actually personally know them and their interests and turn offs, I think anyone likes that just because it shows that you actually listened and kept info about them in mind! šŸ™‚

I would say most are similar to me in that we hate going out on dates.

Having said that though, I have been on two with different Taurus that fit the traditional meaning.

Both men approached it indirectly.

1. High school - Taurus and I had mutual friend (female Cancer). He told her he was crushing on me and wanted to take me to Prom. So… she set up lots of events where he and I would be together and naturally get to know one another. Then he asked me.

Prom was awkward. It’s a social event and I knew a lot of people. He would shut down or get grumpy when I talked for too long. So, I felt THAT pressure…lol.

But it was amazing when we had our 1:1 moments - dinner sitting so close to one another and talking in each other’s ears, dancing together, going outside for a walk, sitting on the sofa. He was very affected by me and I liked how he reacted to me, it turned me on… and by getting turned on, it would turn him on to see me turned on. That part wasšŸ”„ really nice šŸ”„.

2. A friend of my Pisces sister saw me at a party and he told her he had to meet me.

I think she told me too much so I wasn’t interested. But then he came to me and his approach was very disarming so I accepted to go out with him.

At the dinner, we ran into a huge group of admins from my work. They and we ended up waiting for our tables together and they all took over asking him a million questions and then me. Then they were telling me ā€œomg, I’m so excited for you, he adores you, he’s the one, don’t mess it up… bla bla blaā€. I felt PRESSURED.

Then at dinner he reinforces what the admins were saying and he said I was marriage material and that is where he wanted to head with me.

It was too much too soon. Too much pressure from the outside world that I could see or desire anything except to escape and runaway.

I felt bad because he was very sweet and had the approach been differently, I think the outcome might have been differently.

I told him I was overwhelmed and he waited for me for a year to see if I would change my mind. But I didn’t.

Non dates are more successful than dates I believe.

I'm so glad you could leave both situations cause I'd probably be running away too lool I think it's the Universe's way of telling you they aren't the Ones either. Clearly. I cannot believe the first one already tried to have control over you by getting all grumpy frumpy about you just talking. That tells me he's not a great listener. So good dodge on that one.

I also had a Pisces dude who also said stuff that was like too much too soon too. So I guess it depends on your placements. But at least the second Taurus was honest about where he saw you guys going quick enough that you didn't have to waste any more of your time and energy on him and could just move on?

IMO, Taurus is the least romantic of the romantic signs. They are more sensual than anything and like to express themselves that way. You might not see or experience anything earth shattering at first.. theirs is more of a slow burn.

Yeah, IME most romantic have been Pisces and Cancer. Romantic, sweet, creative… wanting to connect with your soul 🄰

Taurus love to make you feel comfortable - but it isn’t about romance, it’s truly about having an orgy of the senses. šŸ˜¬šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼

Maybe I'm just unclear about the difference between sensuality and romance because in my mind, they go hand in hand. Also I don't know whether to be more scared or amused by "having an orgy of the senses" šŸ˜†

Well… Pisces do tend to say too much too quickly but for some reason that just gives me the giggles because I don’t know… I guess I don’t always believe them…lol. But I do love them - so sweet 🄰

Taurus sometimes scare me because I feel the seriousness and meaning behind the words. I know they’re not fooling around… and that feaks me out sometimes. I’ve had a few people call me a ā€œWild Birdā€ sometimes… just because the approach to me needs to be very indirect at first.

Maybe it’s how we take the energy of our opposites šŸ˜²šŸ˜³šŸ¤”šŸ¤”ā€¦ since Pisces IS YOUR opposite and Taurus mine šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

Anyway… I don’t remember running away from the high schools Taurus. I just remember feeling that in order to be with him, I would need to sacrifice some of ā€œmeā€ā€¦ but I did enjoy pleasing him. I loved how I could make the frown upside down and lived that it wasn’t so easy to accomplish…lol.

It was also my last year and then I moved away after I graduated. But I remember my Pisces sister running into him a year later and he was pissed at me for some reason. So, I guess he thought I wasn’t into him because I needed take more initiative towards him?!? Like he expected me to be chasing after him?!? That was odd to me at the time and when I found out I was quite shocked. Never knew he was upset either šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Is it safe to assume that some Tauruses are pretty lazy then? considering he wanted you to do all the chasing work smh. Shows you his character of what he'd be like if you lived with him if you ask me šŸ‘€

Lol… ok let me see if I could explain šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

Pisces & Cancer - Romantic: Unexpected. Casually invite you to their house, you are in normal clothes, when you come in you see candle lit room. A massage table laid out. Lovely smells from the kitchen as he is cooking a meal for you from scratch. And he has it all planned out when you expected nothing.

Or he casually starts playing the guitar and it’s a piece he wrote up a few days ago. It’s about you. Details that make it uniquely about you.

Last minute, leave the party and go on a trip somewhere romantic - not planned.

Love letters, flowers, music, painting, dancing everywhere.

Taurus - sensual: The way they touch you, grab you… hand behind your lower back or back of the neck. You want to melt there and let them take over. They want you liking good and want you taken care of… have you eaten? No? Well I’ll make sure we go somewhere and have a feast… order two of everything on the menu. Luxurious cars to make you feel like your ride is heaven, casually get you expensive jewelry so you could sparkle. You WILL be taken care of and they will make sure you know that your well being concerns them.

I hope I wasn’t too confusing. I can clearly feel the difference but perhaps not as accurate at verbally expressing it.

No, not confusing at all, thank you for taking the time to explain šŸ¤— and I'm gonna be honest with ya, but personally, Taurus sounds way more appealing šŸ˜† and that might be because Virgo is quite sensual too. That's a wine, dine, make ya shine experience right there, which totally works with my Acts of Service love language too, but I'm assuming it's a slow burn with them to get to that point and needs to be a Taurus who isn't lazy and is super into you. And you know us Virgos and our need for security and stability just like the Tauruses lool

The thing about the Pisces, Cancer one for me is that it's too showman-y and overboard cheesy for me that it would become overwhelming too much all at once. But I can see the appeal for others!
