It also depends on how driven you are, the discipline and motivation for learning. Or self-learning at own pace which makes this more pragmatic, focused and tailored.
An Aries ex did really well in high-school and got his dream job in engineering at biggest telecom company in Ireland at 17/18, then from there moved to a bigger company overseas at 21. All without university.
I think an apprenticeship somewhere gives more confidence and independence to form your path iteratively.
In Switzerland this model is widely appreciated, it's called the "Erstausbildung". An apprenticeship/tradeschool and then work seems to be more attractive than a college degree which is not a good return of investment and leaves you with so much debt.
i like u maxian ur a cool chick and stuff,

I would love to, but it would either go over their heads or cause offence.

My Taurus samba dance partner/teacher was so excited about it, saying it reminded him of me (bc I part-time live in Paris and am in marketing/events) and that I had to watch it.
Boooooooy, was I ever insulted 😑🥴… this show is just WAY too cheesy and unrealistic.
No way a girl that young and in her position able to afford that crazy over-the-top wardrobe!! And I hate how they make her look like a dumb American…. Lacking any understanding of other cultures, her loudness and inability to speak other languages - I can’t relate to any of that.
And… it’s SO CLICHÉ 🙄🤢🤮. Everyone’s role is just an exaggeration.
I’ll give him a pass since he is Brazilian and never been to Paris. He was idealizing it all and living vicariously through me/the show.
I think it's supposed to be fun and cheesy, but definitely not insulting of French culture. I enjoyed it myself including the exaggerations and stereotypes indicated throughout the show but definitely could see why people would be offended by it.
Same. Fun and cheesy are the right words. I don’t think it was created to be taken too serious or literal
I think it's suppose to be a bit satire-ish even, over the top and extreme.
Same creator as Sex and the City.
Yep, same creator - and outfits just as outlandish for Carrie.
But I liked sex and the city much more…lol - maybe because I’m not a New Yorker…lol
I've only watched a couple episodes because the main character just reminded me too much of Carrie, and I didn't like her it all. I loved Samantha.
It just almost feels like this is how would have been if Carrie would have gone to Paris 🤢
Hahhahaha… Samantha was my favorite, too. I absolutely loved her! And I also couldn’t stand Carrie - too whiny, cheesy… and yep 🤢🤮
🤣😂👍🏼
Yeah… being compared to Emily IS NOT a compliment for me. I can’t hide my disappointment when people get excited to compare me to this show 😑😑😑😑😑🙄🙄🙄🙄…. Pleeeeeaase don’t!! 😣😩
Anyway… first-world problems lmao🥴🤷🏻♀️click to expand

He obv called you to find out if you had done that and wasn't really interested in your story lol
Sounds like a big mutual escalation and prob nothing to do with the actual conversation but something deeper going on, some unresolved conflict you have going on between you?
Agree with the 1st 2 lines
I had a sag friend like this! He’d call and act like he wanted to talk to me, but at the end of every convo, he’d be asking for something, to borrow money mostly. 😕
He also would do the cut of thing, mid sentence 😂
Now after the 1st couple times, I knew that his fake concern was just a smoke 💨 screen to conceal his ulterior motive. I purposely let it happen several times, just to observe. Once I had no doubt, I told him off, and them cut him off.
The thing is, the biggest insult was the insult to my intelligence. The fact that he thought 💭 by making small talk, pretending to care, that I’d be clueless to what he was doing.
I’m all for being there for friends, I like my friends to know they can count on me when the need arises, but you won’t use me.
A friend won’t call ONLY when they need something.
I believe all of your story, except the part about you having friends 🤣
No, but I had a sort of online employer and every time he messaged me he'd always start off with a "hi, how's things?" and then tell a joke and then talk about some random shit for 5-10 minutes - it was so annoying lol because I knew he had contacted me for one reason only. To tell me to work harder/better/differently.. but we had to go through this whole charade. In the end, I just called him out on it constantly and his messages became super abrupt and unfriendly 😅
That's UK people. When working with them they don't like our direct and efficient approach. They go through this whole maze of lala's and bs to get to the point.
Half our later we come to the same point and could have avoided the whole thing.
Annoying and waste of time.
He was Canadian 😂
Pretty much the same thing, they're Avoiders too🤣

Why bother asking about your day if he's not willing to listen.
Those 27 dollars can wait, it's not the end of the world. If it's so pressing he can transfer it himself!
He is in prison...
That's quite important information
How do prison phones work? He might have had limited time and needed to rush things or be stressed out
What is the 27 dollars for? It might be much more of a big deal when he is in prison. Maybe he feels helpless and he hates asking you to do it for him - that could definitely be under the surface and cause impatience. I suspect it is something to do with that. It sucks to be dependent on someone, hoping they will do something you ask them and they don't realise it is stressing you and you are reliant on them because you can't do it yourself. I think that made him angry, it's covering up his feelings of helplessness being stuck in prison and unable to do this simple thing himself. He just wanted to know you had done it asap so he could not have to feel that way anymore, knowing it was done and meanwhile you were unknowingly talking about your day not realising his impatience and stress bubbling away underneathclick to expand

Some Aquarius really hate themselves deeply, they can only overcompensate for so long until reality slaps them in the face. I’d waste no energy contacting that individual. That’s her responsibility to work on her mental health.
Some of them do, yes. But if they are willing to do the work (which she does), why would you abandon a person just because she/he has some baggage?
There would be no one left.
Abandon them. So let me get this right, you want to feel a false sense of goodness that you “stuck around” someone who’s mentally imbalanced? No, if your mental framing is not in order, be gone. Don’t care if it’s depression.
Why are you so worked up about this?
Why are you assuming my thoroughness as being worked up? I am not worked up. I gave my opinion just as others did. Perhaps you just don’t like what I said. If that’s the case, oh well.click to expand
