I NEED YOU HELP PLS

SOOOOOO

For a year now, a friend in common has been setting me and a beautiful capricorn woman up. We live in different countries, I might add. She started to follow me on IG, I followed her. But only last week we started to talk - after our friend has been talking A LOT about her to me and about me to her. SHE REACHED OUT. Invited me to spend the New Years Eve with her and a few friends (including the one we share) in her father's house. Mind you I am aware that she was inviting me to her family's house AKA very personal space. Flight tickets are really expensive, I could't go unfortunately.

But we kept talking and she suggested a call for us to get to know each other. I said YES, but this week is really busy bc of finals at the university - and because I want time to cut my hair, do skincare, and be gorgeous on her screen. Anyways. We began communication on WhatsApp. She asked if I was watching the World Cup, I replied no, bc I was working, and asked her about her profile pic with a cat. She answered, and I continued the conversation with a couple more questions, and now she's leaving me hanging for a day. ——?

What's happening? Did she not take well that I said I was working but was still communicating via text? IDK what to think pls help me

I don't know if you remember properly or not, but I have indeed cried over a few here. Not likely to someone new, instantly. Realistically I'm just telling you that waiting is okay. I've ruined friendships and stuff by being pushy and is something I struggle with, usually if I feel that I'm being slighted or treated unfairly. Don't do that. Whether or not she answers, you have your answer after some time. It's okay to check in after a bit, but like a day or a few? I'd try to wait a bit more, personally.

Now we are talking! And I agree with you, actually - it is okay and I am going to wait. I freak out internally but never double text people. We are recently talking but we've been communicating indirectly for a year through the friend in common, who is being really insistent in us meeting each other. It is really weird that she left me hanging (after a question I made, mind you) after communicating intensely for the past days. I can't read her mind so I'm here for insights. Thanks for sharing yours
