Can Scorpio and Taurus work?

Recently I found out I had the wrong birthdate for the Scorpio now I see why we've been talking for so long without even meeting yet. It's because of all the Saturn aspects I actually want to try with him seeing that there is potential for longevity.

I’ve had good experiences with taurus, there is a lot of common ground. I also have a Virgo venus like your scorp. It causes us to be very cautious and slow moving. We look before leaping, not the type to rush in.. less impulsive in relationships as some other scorps.

Where is your venus?

I have Venus in Pisces.
