Cancer and Sagittarius suns but compatible moons and Venus

So I met someone and I was able to find his birth time to do a natal chart. He is Sag and I am Cancer which would normally mean we're not that compatible, however:

We are both Sagittarius rising.

We both have moon in Cancer.

My Venus is in Cancer and his is in Scorpio.

But our whole rundown is this:

For me, rising Sag, sun is Cancer, moon is Cancer, Mercury is Cancer, Venus is Cancer, Mars is Scorpio.

For him, rising Sag, sun is Sag, moon is Cancer, Mercury is Sag, Venus is Scorpio, Mars is Virgo.

I'm thinking we're pretty compatible, but any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated!

Just too much. We aren’t the sign that likes to feel like we have tracking devices on us. And that’s what Cancers feel like when they like someone a lot.

It makes me cringe and I want to run and escape.

Other signs like it cause they find it endearing or loving. A Sag will take it as you encroaching on their freedom.

If you guys weren’t so nosy and could keep the questions to a minimum, it would be a better way of getting along. But I think you guys are naturally curious about everything. It’s cool and expected when in a relationship, but not in the beginning stages of dating or getting to know a person.

Feels like a red flag and it comes off controlling.

We aren’t the sign that coddles Cancers when they blame a person for the way they feel either. The emotional manipulation is super clear to us and I as a cancer moon will ignore it on purpose because I know what they’re doing. 😅 I can not be guilt tripped into doing anything just cause a Cancer wants their way. It makes me want to say “no” even more.

It’s just a train wreck.

But I do like Cancer Mercury- I love the style of communication with this Mercury and He has Virgo in his chart, so maybe it could work.

Yes, I am a Cancer but also a Sag rising. I think they kind of balance each other out. Because I myself do not like to be questioned or pestered. So I have to say that should be taken into account as well.

The good thing is -as a cancer, you’re going to do what you want anyways. lol

So just try your luck. Who knows. His chart could be the right combination for yours! 😁

Idk why everyone keeps saying a dude is sag. Yes his sun and rising is sag but the rest of the chart consists of water mostly. And she has the same rising. For lord's sake look at that cancer moon and scorp venus..

I adore them as friends. I like their personality, they are super fun, spontaneous, down for anything, great company.

It’s just the negative traits that suck.

The stubbornness, emotional manipulation, ignoring, they can say very hurtful things when upset too.

The bad outweighs the good to me. Cancers can cut deep and I think Sag can be pretty sensitive to it and many don’t think we are sensitive.

I think the relationship could be too toxic.

Or the opposite. The Cancer could lose interest once they see the sweet side of a Sag, if she happens to catch his eye.

There isn’t much grey area to work with.

At least things will happen quickly once they get started. lol

A few months time, will sort it all out.

Yep. 4 months for one with me, the other kept trying to get me to date him for a couple of years. Lol I had quite the emotional reaction to that one. Yes, toxic. I knew it was a bad idea.

Giving the information the way you did… planets in signs without degrees does not tell me much. You may want to post the degrees for some legit feedback.

People should stay out of relationships with sun signs that match their 12th house sign. Case in point = sag sun in the sag rising house.

It should actually be the descendant/7th house sign qualities that you get in relationships with.

Thanks! I will evaluate this and get back to you. There is something that jumps out immediately: your Jupiter in mutual reception (sextile) to his Saturn. That is one hell of a glue in Synastry - making it so there is obsession and making it hard to be pulled apart.

Oooooh, so your mars makes an exact conjunction to his Venus 🔥 that’s a sexy aspect 😅 and his Scorpio Venus is trine your cancer moon and Venus which is also a positive aspect to have in synastry

A Sagittarius doesn't need time chatting to get to know someone. It's done in person. So your best shot to win him over is to see him a lot and be around him a lot. Hog up his time. That sort of clingy is fine.

Well, things didn't turn out the way I expected. And after further research, it seems like the fact that we BOTH have the moon opposite Neptune in our synastry might be too prominent above the favoring aspects. My Cancer moon is opposite his Capricorn Neptune and his Cancer moon opposite my Sagittarius Neptune. It seems as though we may be doomed before even starting. 😢
