Emotion is uncomfortable and we feel very strongly - we just can’t handle keeping at that level constantly.
It’s all about the risk. If we aren’t 100% sure that we won’t be risking our inner selves which we hide almost constantly and can’t trust someone then we will act abrasive and cold.
Where were you all this while? I wish i had known this a couple years ago. But still i got to know this firsthand dealing with one. But you saying clarified my doubts.
Simply put : When you know it won't work.
From what I have seen from Gemini men, it is usually when they have sat down and analyzed the pros and cons of the relationship, and then determined that there are conflicting personal life style choices, religious views, or something else within both himself and the other person, that they have determined would eventually undermine the relationship in the long run.
