i'm hoping someone could let me know what i should or shouldn't be doing with taurus moons, and maybe some signs i could use to determine if i should let things go with one in particular..

so the background is i met one over a year ago at work, i think there was probably some mutual chemistry but we never really got to know each other.

she was in or shortly began a relationship with someone else, and i never thought about it.

I always maintained cordial interactions, and pretty much minded my own business, which is what i normally do.

I guess something happened with their relationship, i'm not exactly sure what. due to circumstances, we began to be around each other more and more. there were a couple of times when we were about to leave work, and it appeared like she was waiting for me. But due to my responsibilities I wasn't able to leave yet, so I just told her I have to go finish taking care of some things before I would be able to leave. I think it happened once or twice.

she told me one week she wanted to send me a message to see if i wanted to hangout, but she didn't want to bother me. i told her she definitely wouldn't be bothering me, and the next weekend she sent me a message, and we spent the day together. we kind of just walked around and went to stores and ate, and she wound up spending the night.

we both had work the next day, and i feel like that is where my confusion began. originally through the day, she mentioned making plans later for other things she wanted to do, and i didn't have any real problems with that. i feel like i am easy going, sometimes a little intense. but i know she is going through some emotional situations right now, so when i started asking about if she wanted to spend time again, i just thought maybe she is going through some difficulties when she seemed to be lashing out and calling me rude. i just chalked it up to what i would consider a puppy like personality and apologized. happened about twice i would say.

i'm on travel right now, and tried to communicate, but don't really get any kind of quantifiable response which would help me determine if i am on a journey by myself at this point.

i feel like i'm always by myself regardless, and usually just give up and move on. but i'm not really sure if that's maybe why i'm single, because i'm either overanalysing, or missing some signals that i should be receiving.

there's a lot more to this, and i'll add when it makes sense, but for now, i'm just left scratching my head trying to figure this out.

The dreamy Pisces sun n venus on other hand, especially venus... can fall head over heels for someone we feel a connection with them. That has gotten me in trouble before. Yeah he appears to be great person but am wary of the Pisces sun. Had 2 Pisces before and both were bad experiences. This one appears very different tho. Already showing his protective side without it being weird or awkward. So am going with the flow and see where it will go.

Very true! The Taurus sun I was seeing before, was in a rush aswell but he had a lot of Cancer placements. And I mean A LOT! He's a joy to be around but due to previous experiences, he cant handle my strong personality. He was on n off with me and I cant deal with that. So I choose to move on.

Then a few weeks ago, started chatting to this Pisces totally unexpectedly. We were suposed to have met at a party already but work got in the way. He has his own business and works long days. We talk from moment I wake up till he goes to bed. He's now seeing when we can plan something. He also has his child... can tell he's doing the effort but it just takes some planning. Which in the end is ok for our pace really. It gives time for conversation cause we both know that we'll either end up in the sack or be completely awkward together.

The other day I told him about some concerns I have about an upcoming dinner party that we're both invited to. About a few people there. After hearing my concerns, first thing he said: they wont do that when I'm (he) around or they'll get the 💪 Thats the Taurus I reckon... the possessive nature of Taurus. We want to meet before the dinner party tho. Thing is, next week I'll go into an intensive surgery and thats really not the perfect way to meet for first time 🤣 ohh well, we'll make it work eventually.

Very true! The Taurus sun I was seeing before, was in a rush aswell but he had a lot of Cancer placements. And I mean A LOT! He's a joy to be around but due to previous experiences, he cant handle my strong personality. He was on n off with me and I cant deal with that. So I choose to move on.

Then a few weeks ago, started chatting to this Pisces totally unexpectedly. We were suposed to have met at a party already but work got in the way. He has his own business and works long days. We talk from moment I wake up till he goes to bed. He's now seeing when we can plan something. He also has his child... can tell he's doing the effort but it just takes some planning. Which in the end is ok for our pace really. It gives time for conversation cause we both know that we'll either end up in the sack or be completely awkward together.

The other day I told him about some concerns I have about an upcoming dinner party that we're both invited to. About a few people there. We want to meet before the dinner party tho. Thing is, next week I'll go into an intensive surgery and thats really not the perfect way to meet for first time 🤣 ohh well, we'll make it work eventually.

i'm thinking it's from both ends, like i mentioned i did have to stop myself, apologize, look at the situation, reel myself back and think a little bit. i'm sometimes a little candid when i interact with people, mostly what i say and the way i say it. i try to be optimistic, so nothing is really a permanent problem for me. and she is/was going through some difficulties. my attitude could have been perceived as lacking sympathy, but being a taurus, i'm not prone to handing it out immediately.

well to be more open, she mentioned i was being rude, and that it wasn't the first time. which was when i apologized.

i'm usually a quick learner, but haven't really been in this situation in a while (i.e. she's not a crazy single mom breaking down my door, which is not entirely as fun as it sounds)

i can't imagine the badmouthing, but maybe... there's a lot going on and i'm in an unusually anxious "let's get this shit done" mode until i get some time off at the end of this work phase.... i could be pissing people off and it might be making it's way to her, but i'm not inclined to think that way.... for optimistic reasons of course

Mercury Taurus should be a good thing for a Taurus moon. With your fire moon (I think Aries moon?), you probably need to defer a little to your Mercury. Rein in your fiery emotions with your Mercury. Might be frustrating for you at the initial stage but eventually the two of you might meet in the middle. She has a fire Merc, but it's Leo - a placement that requires finesse in communication i.e. can be direct and sometimes imposing, but not rude and mouthy about it.

so i'm wondering if it's possible that her being more forward in the past was more of a characteristic of her rising sign then? before all of these events, she would be pretty playful with me. she would say things to me like "what up, woman??" i don't know if she was trying to be funny or insulting, but i thought it was hilarious because i'm usually quiet and somewhat socially passive until someone bugs the shit out of me. i know i've made threads about being an a-hole.... can't always believe what you read on the internet though.

i think that's what's tripping me up for the most part. she did get mad another time when she made a joke about me gifting her some money, and i asked her if that was a more appropriate question for her bf when i saw a recent picture of her with another guy looking cozy. she came at me with the "First of all."

so... i don't know if it's really sabotage, i was just curious and didn't want to ask specifically.

there are way more details, but i'm not really able to type it all out at once. i'm cursed with pretty much taurus everything else but ascendant and moon, so i mostly have a bunch of thoughts running around my head constantly.

thank you for the thoughtful response, it's helpful and gives me an idea of how to readjust.

when i realize she's not happy, it's obvious. i think you are right, it'ss when i don't really have a leash on my fiery side that it becomes a problem. i don't think it's an issue in most normal circumstances, because i am usually quite reserved.

unfortunately i am surrounded by a brigade of assclowns at times, and have found that if i don't realize that i am about to piss her off, it's usually when i've finally broken free from the frustrating environment i'm usually trapped in. i've been trying to explain and i think she understands how frustrated i get.

i kind of knew i was going to piss her off when i assumed about her friend though, i have to admit.

so having another tactless sign for ascendant, i'm not exactly sure what would be considered rude... looking back, i'm thinking just making contact and going right into a message might be it...

that's unfortunately the communication i have become used to for a while now. i feel like i've forgotten how to ask questions with a question mark, when most of my questions have been ending with a period. I'm used to having to ask questions that i already know, or don't even care the answer to. like....

i don't know what you'd call it really. it's not friend-zone, she can get really mad at me. and when not, she's pretty quiet and selective with words. that's interesting though... would her getting... sassy... be kind of a test? the other guy is someone she met while taking care of some paperwork, he works at that office. i personally never officially met him, but i think i realize now that when we were talking the day before i left, and out of what seemed to be nowhere, what appeared to be a random "hunk" strolls up and asks her if she's going to be there a while, and if she can watch his water bottle while he jogs around. i thought it was weird, but i've been exposed to much weirder.

me being a dumba-- i mean optimist didn't think anything of it until i thought back after seeing the picture.... and the things she was telling me about him sunk in, like how he was nice to her and would bring her ice cream even if she didn't want it.... he looked like the same guy, but it's hard to tell when everyone wears masks now. it was a pretty shitty feeling regardless, which is why i asked about him the way i did.

i get it, she gets a lot of attention. but that's why i'm scratching my head, wondering if i am even in the picture.

when i realize she's not happy, it's obvious. i think you are right, it'ss when i don't really have a leash on my fiery side that it becomes a problem. i don't think it's an issue in most normal circumstances, because i am usually quite reserved. unfortunately i am surrounded by a brigade of assclowns at times, and have found that if i don't realize that i am about to piss her off, it's usually when i've finally broken free from the frustrating environment i'm usually trapped in. i've been trying to explain and i think she understands how frustrated i get.

i think specifically is where i am having problems. i've been away for a few months, and am returning to a new area from a long work trip. i don't really feel like i've been in a situation to make any moves this whole time, but i do agree that i need to "shit or get off the pot" so to speak. lol before i left she mentioned wanting a movie marathon, but that was way before i even left and it never happened. This would be when she felt I was rude. i guess my attitude was too assuming, does that sound right?

aside from eating somewhere, i don't have a preference as to what else to suggest. any ideas?

Really? i have no idea what her rising sign is but out of curiosity what would you say gemini risings are like?

i think i'm about to give up on this one and chalk up a loss.

something is just not right, not clicking, and significantly incomplete. despite the advice to be direct, i'm pretty sure i am more than direct enough.

in fact, that's probably the problem.

it's way too one sided and i don't have time to deal with someone who either won't let me determine if we are compatible or not, or is too selfish or emotionally stunted to let me know.

so from my perspective:

- it looks like she's got other more blatant attention.

- doesn't seem to readily respond to efforts to communicate.

- when she does it's usually out of anger.

- the few times it's not out of anger it's usually few words.

- occasionally laughs, which doesn't mean much because i am a highly skilled, trained, and effective assclown.

this has been going on damn near every day for the past few months. i just assume i won't get a response if i ask her anything at this point.

can that even be considered communication? i don't even fucking know at this point.

am i too used to expecting a response in conversation?

Communication wise we tend to be flippant. We don't dwell too long or too deeply into any subject. Which sometimes can be annoying lol
