Aquarius and Conversation

Just talking with some Aquarius males (seems like that's all that has been flocking to me lately) and noticing a repeated issue. I've been through four of these guys and it's always the same. They're all about getting you to talk but a real conversation? Yeah....not gonna happen apparently.

What am I missing here about Aquarius? I thought they were the deep thinkers of the signs? Is having an opinion terrifying to them? Do they not like deep, in-depth conversations?
Or is being extremely superficial and shallow in a conversation just a thing for Aquarius?

Talking to one is like talking to a brick wall....and it's boring as hell to hear guys spewing all the things they think you want to hear yet when you try to have an actual, real conversation, they just zone out and go mute. Even worse....they get upset when I don't respond to their texts and calls like they have no clue why I don't want to talk them. I had one jerk me around so bad I was actually glad when he pulled the distance/disappearing act -please, yes, go away and leave me alone (then he sent me an email which I promptly ignored).

Enlighten me here...I don't want to be rude to these guys -Libra Rising, I hate you- but I can't be their little performing circus monkey any longer.

Don't talk feels. Watch Big Bang Theory and learn.

Deep conversations, but my aqua won't talk God or politics, and usually not feelings unless there's a problem. I'm aware that's strange for an aqua, but I'm a Libra dominant Leo and can spank him in a debate so we don't go there. 😄

Everything else is up foe discussion.

My aqua man will sit with me outside and say he can see a penis-like shape within the branches of a tree, then he'll turn to look at the moon and say "what face has he got on tonight? ......inquisitive" All at random.

I think that beats talking about the weather or some rambling on about themselves non stop. Lol

You should also know Aquas are aloof.

Slow down there a bit with the false accusations. 🙂 I did, twice. Took years, they fully revealed who they truly are, that's how I know that people with the emotion switch genuinely are lacking in a very fundamental way.
Wouldn't exactly call it resentment since Aquas are goodwilling as well and never had bad intentions against me. It's just that for humanitarian reasons, the Aqua lies and delusions should be broken already. I also get a certain kick out of it, that's true. 🙂

So for you to say that Aquas are not real. Is it true to say that all Scorpios are selfish, possessive and egotistical? A general statement as you said yourself can not be true, it just won't be.

How does the post relate to you if you are not a Taurus nor Aquarius? So to bring your false comments here, you hold a bad taste in your mouth. What you consider "real" does mean it is not like that for someone else. Here's another example, Scorpios communication skills are non existent. You truly believe that everyone can read your minds. That's a general statement because it's not always true.

Scorpios are whiny too. Well most of the ones I know are.

Scorpios are bitches. Aquas on the other hand don't bitch until you push them too far. They are remarkable with holding their emotions back until pushed to far. Ever heard of the Calm before the storm. This saying fits an Aqua very well. When arguing with them. They let you say what is on your chest, when you think you won. They come back at you when you have nothing left to say. Aquas earn my respect.

truthfully me and my husband dont even talk much. he has his creative projects and i have mine, we just sit together and enjoy our company.

we do say stuff to eachother but we are not very talkative at all.

so i dont understand what you want from people who are born under these months.

my husband was saying something interesting to me the other day....

so that piqued my interest.

what do you mean by that.

People in the monarchy like to start their speeches and writings, on "WE"

i'm trying to grasp that one.

Find someone who has like Aquarius Sun, Aquarius Moon, Aquarius Mercury and Aquarius Mars. Then try starting a debate or an argument with them. How far would you go with someone like that?

Aquarians in my experience like to talk about anything and everything. The strangest and most eccletic conversations I've had were mostly started by Aquarians.

@nyxxee what do you mean with "a real conversation"? Maybe you think we are cold. I like to express my thoughts but I usually don't engage in deep passionate conversations because a)they usually don't end well and b)sometimes it's pointless. I also avoid arguments and I don't discuss my feelings.

You pretty much said everything I needed to know.

A "real" conversation to me is exchanging ideas/thoughts and common interests. I have to drag this information out of them. I really hadn't stopped to consider that that kind of communication is actually tied to emotions though. I mean, you have to care about something to like it and in saying you like it you are expressing a personal opinion and that is emotional. Does sort of make sense why they are only willing to reveal the bare minimum with me.

And, no, I actually don't see Aquarius as cold. Maybe guarded is a better word. This is why I thought if I waited long enough they'd finally open up. Months and months...still the same thing.

Anyway, you've answered my question...I still don't know why they keep coming back like gluttons for punishment but at least I understand what's going on in their minds a little better. Thank you.

Aquas do have strong opinions, and can be dogmatic even. But they will keep these opinions to themselves until they're comfortable with you and really trust you before sharing these thoughts, especially if they are deeply personal, like religious and political beliefs. They also have an aversion to being pigeon-holed, hence they'd rather keep some things to themselves. As a fellow air sign I found that by starting the convo light and easy breezy, you can get them to open up and tell you things about themselves, you just need to listen carefully to what they have to say.

and Tiffany Thiessen. I wanna know Tiffany Thiessen's houses but astrotheme doesnt have her rising. So her 11th house packed could be 10th or 12th, instead of 11th. or it could be 4th like Sarah Palin.

By the way, this is exactly how my Aqua friend drives my Taurus friend up the wall.

Everytime I talk with my Aquarian man we discuss random topics. Almost always we talk about spirituality, metaphysics, society, politics and religion. We don't always agree, but we discuss it nevertheless.
