How do Aquarius men show they care?

During my hour-long conversation with my Aqua "friend" today, I explained to him that words of admiration are meaningless if there's no action behind them. I basically had gotten used to him blowing smoke up my a $ $ with gushing compliments, only to ignore me or be condescending later. I told him that one of my needs was to have something tangible every now and then from him that showed me (not told me) he cared. Since I felt it was fair to not have certain pre-set expectations of him, I gave him examples of how I show someone I care about them, then asked him how he shows family members, friends, women, etc. that he cares about them so I could understand him better. He went on to talk for 10 minutes and never answered the question. Shocker, I know 😉.

So, Aquas...how do YOU tangibly show someone that you care about them? And do you show this differently to people based on the category they fit in your life (friend/family/lover)?

My boyfriend is libra and I'm all over him like Gomez on Morticia.....I love kissing his cheeks because he has a beautiful heart shaped face and his lips are always warm and big!.....yep I'm a kisser! I also like giving him back massages, I'm like an octopus playing with his toy.

By taking care of them, being there for them, spending time with them.

I'm not huge on compliments, in fact I hardly ever compliment someone. I'm more action oriented than words.

I show i care by actions, i dont use words. Its hard for me or generally aqua men to say sweet stuff but we are considerate & caring in return. If he doesnt do that, probably he doesnt care for you enough.

Aqua lady here..Ive dated an Aqua man for over 5 yrs so I can give some insight. Aquas show they care for you by actually taking care of you. For example youre sick or you need help. Hes not the kissy face lets hold each other clingy type. Eew. But he will make sure you are fed and you are warm if its chilly out. He will never admit to his feelings for you in words. I know I wouldnt either.

my father is an Aquarius with his Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Capricorn and Moon in Virgo. He definitely has always shown care through action. He does use supportive words, but sometimes you mainly "hear" the critical words. When they criticize (or act condescending)...they aren't really being condescending towards you. If that makes sense. My father always would reprimand/"criticize" but he meant it to HELP not to OFFEND. Sometimes I know it is hard to be indifferent to their words, but they truly mean it in an honest way, not a hurtful way. My mother has been hurt by my father's honesty many times. He normally laughs it off but apologizes in the end, because he truly never meant to offend her in the first place. He was just simply stating a fact.

When I was little and I got B's on things, my father would say "you could've gotten an A. 1+1=2." And when I got to middle school/high school I was a rebellious little thing and would go "NOT EVERYTHING IS 1+1. IF IT WAS 1+1 I WOULD GET AN A" and storm off. When I'd finally chill out (lol) he'd say "I was just referencing if you study more, then you would get an A because it would be like 1+1 to you since you studied so long and hard. It would come easy to you. Just like 1+1." Granted I was a teenager so I'd always argue with him anyways. The phrase "you just want to argue with me" was used quite a bit in my teenage years LOL.

My father also got me a yellow iPod nano at some point. Yellow was my favorite color at that time, but I never told anyone really. When I opened the gift for Christmas, I was so happy. I asked "how did you know yellow was my favorite color?" (I had just changed my favorite color. It used to be blue). He told me "I just know. I pay attention."

With my aqua its definitely action oriented. Hes not big on verbal ways of expression. Doing little things, listening and basically being "there" At times ive thought I was being a little too emotional or too stressed and thinking he must find it annoying but the way in which he handles it is amazing. He is sturdy and it calms me.

He is quite affectionate though which my scorpio sun loves (sensuality)..in what he lacks with words, he makes up for with his touch. I dont know if that is his aqua sun or leo moon but hes cuddly.

@Scorpgirl , u described my aqua exactly. . I couldn't say better .. ‚‚we are still at the beginning tho , we know each other 3 months .. but it was a lot of teasing , flirting , complimenting ,aloof days followed by long kisses , cuddles , his touch is heaven ..

I know! he is the cutest. he is the aqua dad who knows all. I was always a handful but he always tried to make everything the best he could for me. anyone who says those with Aqua stelliums can't be committed/family based have my dad as proof that that's not true 😛 I couldn't ask for a better dad!
